In my Forscan pic a few posts above, the SOC is fictitious, as it has been tricked with unmetered charging, but the realtime voltage and battery current are accurate. The battery soc is way closer to full than shown.

That's a great idea. All you have is two variables, applied voltage and battery absorption. If you throw together a scenario with only those 2 variables, and you know what one of them is (voltage) it will give you an idea as to what the battery state of absorption is. Like in my Forscan pic...

Don't forget the BMS shunt is good for reading amperages non-intrusively down as low as a couple amps using the voltage drop across it. Is quick and convenient, but not the best resolution below 1 amp (0.1 mV across it). You've given us plenty of data to ponder.
