Yeah I'm not a big fan of the smooth gray down there. But I got it on. It's doable without removing the valence. You have to remove the active air dam to access the clips and either snap the old ones off or manhandle them around until they free up. The valence has two nuts you can loosen to make...
I'll be the first to admit, even with the part on hand, I have no clue how to get the current piece off. Not without major disassembly at any point. The air dam is quite in the way.
So, the part came in but unfortunately my truck is stuck at the dealer over the weekend while they apply the stop safely now update.
Interestingly enough, they gave me an XLT powerboost loaner and the lower bumper section is clearly a different part because it's a smooth gray versus the...
I went ahead and ordered that bit. Whenever it gets here I'll find out how hard it is to install and then possibly pull hooks to either paint or powdercoat. Hooks will be getting a black, red or bronze treatment. I'm still undecided on that one though.
I gotta pull the rear tailgate cover off and mess with the applique cause the thing isn't sealing evenly around the edges again. Or throw some adhesive on it or something but that's besides the point. Exhaust tip has been swapped out with the Ford performance black tip as well since these photos...

Could you help me out with the lower bladder. Does it go in between the occupancy sensor and the cushion? Or is it supposed to go underneath it. I can't see how the OCS tube would route if it went under, but at the same time the hole for the circulation seems to not quite line up.
It is. I got rid of the chrome on the mirrors, door handles, and tailgate. Still debating about the front end if I want to swap to a gloss black lariat grill.
Awful photo I dug up from before. But I was probably going to just plastidip the tow hooks or something as well since I really doubt I'll use them very often. It seems fairly cheap for the plastic if that really is the right piece.
Has anyone deleted this chrome piece on their plats? I'm trying to figure out if it's an easy to just buy the black version and replace it. I just wanted to double check with part number.

I think it's this one? There's also a primed version but I'm undecided if I'd like to get it...
Guess I'll just see if I can use zip ties.
Do you know what changes need to be made with FORSCAN?
I saw this from Jesse earlier on the APIM. Is that the only thing?

Probably, I just see them labeled as screw when I googled it.
This one I could only find under the other part number which I'm hoping is the same thing.

Good news. The bottom seat baldders shipped from Varsity ford for me yesterday. I don't know how many they got a hold of, but hopefully other people are able to get their hands on them.
Separately, The screws are still on backorder. Anyone know what I can just substitute instead of these? I'd...
I had to cancel my order a while ago cause whichever dropshipper dealer said they couldn't get like half of it. I'll have to go talk to another couple dealers and see if I can get info on what is/isn't backordered
Tracks with me but I'm on a powerboost 4x4 with the long bed. I've basically got one of the heaviest trucks from factory too as my payload is abysmal. (It's like 1250 lbs or something) so I assume that isn't helping at all either. Above 70mph and i get 18mph on the freeway.
My fuelly tracks with yours. I'm consistently in the 17s-18s. Only changes to my truck are same size tires, but higher offset wheels. My trips are 6 miles round trip to work mostly. So very short trips.
I'm guessing no l uck on anyone getting the parts for these? I want to order the whole shebang but there's always some parts that seem to be on permanent backorder.
