I just picked up my truck from my dealership today to have 2 recalls (trailer brake and underside shield) and Bluecruise updated. They had the truck for a week, due to back order parts on the recall. Bluecruise works perfectly, love the new update of the bed camera view while driving too.
What do you mean by weight difference? The weight of the wheels?
The Limited comes with powerboost and 22s from the factory. I don't see my set up is significantly different from the Limited trim. I didn't go with crazy oversize AT tires and want to keep the ride quality and mpg comparably...
Blue cruise is not bad either. I have it on my Mach E and I use it all the time on highway. I used it as a driving "tool" or "aid" and I would not trust it to react like a human being.

If you are able to locate the missing piece, that's no harm to try to reassemble it yourself. Otherwise, you better bring it in for service and have them order the part and install for you. I think you can keep driving the truck and clear the warning message at start up.
I am towing a similar trailer as the OP around 5000 pounds loaded. I just drove back from Ohio to NJ. Went through some hilly highway in PA. 550 mile and 11 hours (didn't shut off the truck because I am carrying our pets to keep the AC on). Resulting 11.5mpg. I would assumed mileage is...
