There’s a lot of charts online to look at the at each tire size. The jeep guys have gone into this in crazy detail. When you see the exact rpm difference for the same tire size it can help
I have the bakflip. Not sure which model. Also had one on my last truck. To me the panels seemed to take up less space and are easy.
The one on my last truck didn’t seem to fit great (ram). Maybe it was something on install I don’t know
the one on my f150 I’m really happy with the fit and...
For some reason, the multiple camp spots we go to the truck hotspots(we have a ford and ram) is the only thing that can get data service. We have people with Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile cell phones. Voice works fine from the phones but data is lacking for some reason. But when we use the hotspot...
I have a 2021 powerboost and often need to use the internet from the truck. Question is what’s the best way to use it. Do I leave the car on accessory? Do I just leave the car on and let the engine cycle to charge the battery?
thanks
hand calculated all city driving over a few days. This is trying to be efficient I got around 26mpg. I still dont believe it. Filled up, drove around for a few days. Impressive in the city. Even driving it normal im still high teens
Today Im driving around and notice theres a static sound when I tap the brake. I then notice that the radio volume is turning on and off as I brake hard. It's really annoying and just started today. Has anyone seen this happen?
I sincerely appreciate all the helpful comments here. Part of me feels like I’m overthinking it, but I’m torn.
it’s either recon grappler XL or E.
the BFg is a great tire in D but ia slightly heavier than the nitto E. So I’m crossing it off the list.
From researching it seems like most are...
agreed. Fords much smarter than I am. I’ve just never had 4 plys on any truck. Just stuck with c or d. First time having 20s and even seeing sl and xl. I guess it’s a different set up
I appreciate the response. Help me understand these figures please
Tires are 2756 max
Front gawr is 3900
Rear gawr is 4150
Gvwr is 7350
Max tow is 12,300
how do I calculate where things should be
I was thinking the opposite. BFg were better off road and the recon grapplers were prob better on road. I’d love to feel good with the xl rating. But even talking to discount tire they’re saying that 4 ply isn’t ideal. Trust me I’d prefer the lighter weight.
Ok. I’m stuck between these two options
275/60/20
Nitto recon grappler E range
BFg K02 D range
I’d prefer the D range but the BFg tend to run a little smaller, weigh the same as the nitto E range, and are more expensive. We’ve owned both G2 and Ko2 in the past and have been happy with...
