All is well! Apparently this is a limitation of Granger Ford, where they don’t have the capability of replacing an existing ESP with a new one.
I called Zeigler Ford and talked to them. They were able to determine that my truck is CPO Gold, and also offered a discount if I paid in full.
I got...
I bought a '21 F150 CPO a little over a year ago. I've currently got 33k miles on it, and it's still just under the 3yr/36k mile warranty.
I was looking into Ford Protect/ESP and went to Granger's website to buy a plan to extent my coverage. Paid for everything online, and got an email from...
I was told by someone on here that I need my APIM replaced, but I got an email tonight saying that my truck should be getting an update to Sync4a soon. I guess I’ll wait and see if anything actually materializes…
Indirectly related, do I need automatic updates turned on for this? Even though my truck is connected to my home Wi-Fi, touching the toggle for automatic updates doesn’t do anything—it’s like it’s permanently toggled off and won’t allow me to turn it on.
Decided this morning that I’d try a factory master reset, but wouldn’t you know it, that’s not even needed because everything is working fine now. Weird!
Hey all,
I have a ‘21 XLT with 302a and about 25k miles.
While driving home today, I noticed that—using CarPlay—Apple Maps kept showing me as being on a road to the west of the road I was actually on. It was constantly recalculating directions like it thought I was a few hundred feet West of...
Thank you both! The Stage3 pucks I bought don’t come with any written instructions, and their install video just says to reference the owner’s manual (lol).
Appreciate the help and info!
I don’t know if it’s just generally hard to find or if my googling skills have really gone down the toilet—but I’m trying to find the torque specs for the front suspension bits (UCA, LCA, Strut tower, sway bar, etc) on a ‘21 XLT FX4.
anyone know where I can find that info?
I’ve seen some videos on YT about shoving some nickels into the support springs for the center console lid to help it stay open on its own.
I have a ‘21 XLT with the non-work surface center console lid, and it’s infuriating that it won’t stay open on its own. After having put some nickels under...
I had no idea that was even a thing, but I'm a sucker for the higher ride height. Maybe it's because I'm a shorter guy haha.
Appreciate the input! I think the puck spacers are what I'm going to start with and see how they feel.
Thanks! Stage 3 is the main one I've been looking at...
Hear me out. I have no idea if I'm going to get destroyed for this line of thinking, and I wouldn't be surprised to see some 'why did you get a truck?' comments.
I have a '21 XLT that I want to level out. The dipped nose looks terrible, and I eventually want to get some wheels and nicer AT...
Any idea if the preload on the front springs using something like 5100's for leveling would cause the truck to feel like it has less damping? Trying to find out if road driving feel will be negatively impacted by leveling.
I know this is an old thread, but curious for those who've been responding—does the preload on the front springs using 5100's for leveling cause the truck to feel like it has less damping? Trying to find out if road driving will be negatively impacted by leveling.
