It's so crazy, I must be stuck in OTA purgatory again as my 2021 Powerboost is stuck at 4.2.4 still. This would be the second time I have been stuck in purgatory if that is the case. Ugghhh.
I just received 4.2.2 on my Powerboost and was wondering for more details. I've seen various links for Ford Power Up historical information such as https://fordpowerups.com/, another one on the wikipedia site, but this link here seemed more accurate.
The fact that we have so many websites out...
And apologies, I intended to say it was scary my dealer and Ford didn't know, but unfortunately my I stopped the the thought early as I was typing on my cell phone, which admittedly, I suck at. Still, your link is great, thanks again.
I did. What I can say is that now, my 2021 F150 has Ford Power Up 3.5 3 with android auto full screen. But, how I got there isn't clear.
When I called Ford Sync supprt they acknowledged, based on my VIN, that I should get this uodate, and that others have had this problem and that to resolve it...
The Pro-Power on board inverter has software attached to it. Depending on the version of that software, you can get premature short circuits. If you have an old version of the software and can convince your dealer to update it, your problem could be resolved that way without having to buy any...
My 2021 Powerboost (VIN: 1FTFW1ED0MFB28588) is at Sync version 22177 product revision 473.
The website for Ford Pass says my VIN has automatic sync updates and map updates available.
But, my truck believes no updates are available.
I've tried with wifi on and off, and in both cases checking...
That's good to know. I checked my 21 powerboost and I'm still at 22177_PRODUCT Revision 473. It'd be nice to get this update.
Also, I find it weird that my truck says I have Ford Sync 4, but my Ford pass says I have Sync 4a. And Ford pass says I don't have automatic uodates on but my truck...
I'm sooooo jealous. I have a 21 Powerboost and I'm stuck with the old interface. I am up to date on Ford updates so at this point I'm thinking maybe it won't come to my truck. Oh well.....
I just looked up "FDRS", seems interesting. Is it $925 license? Or is that something I could purchase as a limited license for troubleshooting? Even so, I'd be afraid I'd do something silly and brick my truck. My dealer did that once to my truck already :)
So glad to read this post @OCDoug! That's warms my heart. And the most fun part, you get to use your saw now! Sweet!
When I learned that Ford has a fix for their newer trucks and this is a known issue, it was a real bummer to think about all the money and time I had invested in trying to...
Awesome. How long did that last before you had to do it again? The dealer told me they are being inundated with fading on this wheel cover.
Thanks a million.
Just a quick update about this harsh shifting. I put my truck into my dealer on Jan 9th and they still have it in the shop. They flashed TSB-21-2407 (harsh upshift) and they said it wouldn't fix my issue of shifting so they flashed tsb-22-2224 (vibration/shutter). I honestly don't see how this...
On my PowerBoost, the 30.6 gallon tank does roughly the same range as the 36 gallon tank.
In regards to the differences in payload, I think you're right. But, I haven't changed anything on my truck and the sticker was still much different than the sales literature documentation stated...
It seems they are protecting the API now as I get the following message:
{"Message":"Authorization has been denied for this request."}
However, I noticed that if you go into your Ford Pass account (https://www.ford.com/support/towing-calculator), on the website, there is a Towing Calculator...
I'm on the fence as to whether or not I'm having this problem or tsb-21-2407. I can say that sometimes, when I take off from a start, or when I'm breaking, it seems like when the transmission goes up, or down to third gear... if I don't have my seatbelt on, I might come out of my seat. It's...
You are a plethora of information, I really appreciate that.
When you say gear hang, is that in any way like the lag that I experience sometimes when pressing the throttle and nothing happens for a couple seconds? I get this sometimes when I'm in electric mode trying to transition into main...
