    Same trans temp and compass issues with my 21 5.0 4X4 XL STX FX4. Ford told my dealer it would be next year before a fix for the temp gauge.

    Mine works when it feel like it. Dealer has no clue or desire to fix it. Transmission temp gauge is intermittent also.
