I did notice I needed to add washers on the upper bolts for the top shock assembly. Other than that, everything was perfect as far as fitment goes. I was also easily able to adjust the ring for a bit more preload. I didn’t need a spring compressor... unlike my fox 2.5's which were near...
Here's my dragy time. Launching at 1900 in sport mode. This was with 2.5" level and duratrac tires. I've since put larger tires and and rims which are within a few pounds each of the previous. Interested what I'm losing in time with this new wheel/tire combo.
Thank you. I did talk to Icon but the tech I talked with had no clue. Lol. He didn't even understand the difference between the Tremor and regular F-150 knuckle.
Thanks for all the leg work on this and the link to the new Icon tremor-like upgrade. I am going to order the Icon Knuckles and coil overs.
Question with regard to the Tremor knuckle and CV angles. Did you notice there CV angles are harsher after install? The reason I ask is the hub location...
I love them! I posted about the fox install and set-up last sept. See here (12) Fox 2.5 Coilovers on a Powerboost? | F150gen14 -- 2021+ Ford F-150, Tremor, Raptor Forum (14th Gen) | News, Owners, Community, Discussions
I ended up adding a 1/4" spacer in front to get the full 2.5" of lift I...
Just posting for your info if fitting new wheels and tires. I have a Powerboost that I lifted 2.5" in front and 3/4" in the rear. I just installed Toyo AT3 E 285/65/r20 on Shelby CS45 20x9 with a 12mm offset. The tires measure 34.6" x 11.5" and weigh 56lbs. I bought the CS45 for their weight of...
Agreed with this place. Right around the corner from me. They are awesome. A lot of people I know go to them for work and say they are the best. If I didn't wrench myself, I'd go to them.
Yes, eco mode was certainly more tame but the shift firmness was still aggressive. What I did to correct the shifting was reset adaptive and KAM memories then drove less aggressively for 100 miles. Shifts so much better now. I guess I was a little aggressive (excited) on the first go around when...
I will have to give that a go. Some good temps outside now so may try it out over the next night or so.
Have you noticed the shifts are little aggressive driving tame in normal mode? Might be a bit much for my liking.
That's really impressive. I also got the tune about a month ago and did a run with Dragy and pulled 4.91 sec 0-60 mph. I just made a few passes but expect better times with more experience launching this truck.
I would say ride is a little more compliant than stock especially over larger bumps. Not much offroading yet. Will be off road soon. I didn't have much time on the stock suspension so it's really hard to compare.
There is 7/8" thread showing from top of adjustable collar ring.
Thanks! I did not. I am playing with the settings now. Middle of the clicks for road seem to be good so far. The rear doesn't jump around anymore when there's chatter in the road so, the 2.5's with these settings are keeping the rear at bay.
Hey there. I just installed the fox 2.5 front and rear on my Powerboost today. I bought the 15-20 kit from stage3 and dealt with frank. Great guy to talk through the purchase. The springs that come with the coilovers are eibach 550 lb. I had to adjust the colar on the coil over to get 2" of...
