After 3 attempts the dealership was able to learn that a factory worker installed the sensors in reverse positions. Poor quality control again with these union workers.
Dealer replaced my wiper motor per the recall. I’ve had my truck back about 5 weeks and the wiper arms keep getting pushed passed the limits. My driver side wiper arm hits the a pilar molding and the passenger side keeps hitting the lower cowel.
I’ve taken it back to the dealership twice...
Buyer beware: I just tried to have the Generac 6852 installed at the house today and the electrician said because my septic pump was on a 40 amp line he couldn't install it.
I guess the 7.2 Powerboost generator maxes out at 30 amp.
Unfortunately for me this was an expensive learning lesson...
My electrician wants to use the standard transfer switches he uses on all jobs (not Generac 6852 or x-series). He claims he can separate the neutral and ground in the transfer circuit.
Is this possible? Or am I wasting my time? (is there a way he can add separate bars as add-ons?)
I'm...
I’m getting 22.6 MPG with my 2022 Powerboost XLT. My friends 2022 Tundra gets 16.5 MPG same driving conditions. Big difference over the course of a year.
Besides the generator (which is great) another benefit is when you are waiting in a parking lot for kids practice to end or something you...
If you are getting the Powerboost hybrid engine the stop/start will always be deleted because it’s built into the hybrid engine. (That’s what my dealership said).
My heater just blow’s extremely hot air or just cold. It never works even close to the needed temperature. Dealership “recalibrated” the system but still the same issue. For $65,000 and less than 2,000 miles the trucks climate control system should work.
This is a bit scary. I thought these Ford Hybrid systems were ready for prime time. I’m having random issues with my 22 PB (climate controls, error messages, )
anyone having major reliability issues?

Same issue.
I’m not sure how Ford Quality Control didn’t catch this issue. If a Ford engineer actually test drove one of these completed trucks they could fix small things like this before they ship.
I received the paper recall notice in the mail today. It references Jan 2023 as the expected date they will have a solution in place. (My build date was July 2022)
I have the same climate control system in my Explorer. The dual feature is off and temperature is set to the same 72 degrees.
I spoke with the dealer today it sounds like they know the issues and will check it out on Friday. I’ll report back when I know the issue.
2022 Powerboost (1,000 miles) heat is blowing cold air on drivers side and really hot air on passenger.
There’s no way to get the temperature even.
Anyone else having this issue?
