  1. Heater blowing cold air on one side and hot air on the other.

After 3 attempts the dealership was able to learn that a factory worker installed the sensors in reverse positions. Poor quality control again with these union workers.
  2. Wiper Motor Recall (Update: Replacement Parts Are Finally In)

Dealer replaced my wiper motor per the recall. I’ve had my truck back about 5 weeks and the wiper arms keep getting pushed passed the limits. My driver side wiper arm hits the a pilar molding and the passenger side keeps hitting the lower cowel. I’ve taken it back to the dealership twice...
  3. Installed Transfer Switch in House

Yes, it's 240v 36a. Two Zoeller Effluent Pumps (model E165) 1 HP, 230v. I assume one of the pumps is a backup.
  4. Installed Transfer Switch in House

The electrician showed me the septic pump specs and it did say it pulls up to 36 amps (I assume that would be at startup).
  5. Installed Transfer Switch in House

Buyer beware: I just tried to have the Generac 6852 installed at the house today and the electrician said because my septic pump was on a 40 amp line he couldn't install it. I guess the 7.2 Powerboost generator maxes out at 30 amp. Unfortunately for me this was an expensive learning lesson...
  6. Transfer Switch install - success!

My electrician wants to use the standard transfer switches he uses on all jobs (not Generac 6852 or x-series). He claims he can separate the neutral and ground in the transfer circuit. Is this possible? Or am I wasting my time? (is there a way he can add separate bars as add-ons?) I'm...
  7. Whats the point of hybrid?

I’m getting 22.6 MPG with my 2022 Powerboost XLT. My friends 2022 Tundra gets 16.5 MPG same driving conditions. Big difference over the course of a year. Besides the generator (which is great) another benefit is when you are waiting in a parking lot for kids practice to end or something you...
  8. Whats the point of hybrid?

I bought it for the hybrid parking spots.
  9. Bed camera being deleted from 360 camera package

If you are getting the Powerboost hybrid engine the stop/start will always be deleted because it’s built into the hybrid engine. (That’s what my dealership said).
  10. Consumer Reports List Powerboost On Least Reliable

It sounds like common major issue is related to climate control system.
  11. Poor Auto Climate temperature control

My heater just blow’s extremely hot air or just cold. It never works even close to the needed temperature. Dealership “recalibrated” the system but still the same issue. For $65,000 and less than 2,000 miles the trucks climate control system should work.
  12. Paintwork damaged by LineX dealer (suggestions on repair?)

Looks like clear coat scratch. Go to YouTube and watch some videos. You can fix that in 20 minutes
  13. Consumer Reports List Powerboost On Least Reliable

This is a bit scary. I thought these Ford Hybrid systems were ready for prime time. I’m having random issues with my 22 PB (climate controls, error messages, ) anyone having major reliability issues? https://www.autoblog.com/article/least-reliable-cars-trucks-2022/
  14. How to repair Active Air dam?

That doesn’t make sense. Contact Ford Corporate and let them know that.
  15. Center console organizing slides back and forth

Same issue. I’m not sure how Ford Quality Control didn’t catch this issue. If a Ford engineer actually test drove one of these completed trucks they could fix small things like this before they ship.
  16. New recall: Front Park Lamp Flicker (NHTSA # 22V686)

I received the paper recall notice in the mail today. It references Jan 2023 as the expected date they will have a solution in place. (My build date was July 2022)
  17. Heater blowing cold air on one side and hot air on the other.

I have the same climate control system in my Explorer. The dual feature is off and temperature is set to the same 72 degrees. I spoke with the dealer today it sounds like they know the issues and will check it out on Friday. I’ll report back when I know the issue.
  18. Heater blowing cold air on one side and hot air on the other.

2022 Powerboost (1,000 miles) heat is blowing cold air on drivers side and really hot air on passenger. There’s no way to get the temperature even. Anyone else having this issue?
  19. Used PowerBoost's Pro Power during Hurricane Ian blackout

When towing with the PB I don’t see the hybrid system doing much. The gas mileage goes back down to 15-16 mpg. (When not I get around 25mpg)
  20. Used PowerBoost's Pro Power during Hurricane Ian blackout

You won’t miss the 5 liter unless you tow a lot. I had a 5.7 Tundra and the Powerboost is better.
