Funny you say that. I asked them yesterday if they could. I was told an inspection for a tsb is a separate appointment and needs to be booked. If the issue doesn’t exist, I need to pay for the apt. I’m assuming the service person has no clue what I’m talking about and is just following protocol...
It doesn’t seem like anyone on this board has reported having this issue yet, which is great.
My truck is going in for an oil change today and its build date falls within the window listed on the tsb.
My question; is the “inspection area” from the tsb an obvious place they look when conducting...
I took mine in to the dealership for them to have a look and fix/recalibrate as my vertical scale is showing 2/3’s full with an empty box. They insisted that everything is well calibrated, understand the situation but essentially have no clue on what to do to remedy the problem.
I am curious if...
Add me to this list… 7000km, extremely disappointing. Rear passenger window went down but is stuck open. I know the service dept at my dealership is weeks out from scheduling anything. Fingers crossed, they can roll it up for me at least in the meantime.
I spoke to a Ford representative about this yesterday and they weren’t quite sure either. She directed me to ask my dealership.
I tried using lane centering on tow mode with no actual trailer connected and it worked. Could it be that the feature is unavailable when there is “significant” load...
My truck defaulted automatically to no lane centering which I assumed was because I was towing. I’d love to have it on if it’s possible. I did notice the truck kind of being all over the road, as this was my first time towing with it l, not as smooth as my previous truck. I’m wondering if it’s...
Received wonderful news that my delivery date has actually been moved up a week. For other Canadians on this build week, my truck was in Toronto from KC on Friday. It is supposed to make the 4hr trip north this week… one can only hope.
If this is any consolation.
My “order track” still says “in production” with 820 other vehicles. It hasn’t budged in days. The ford order page says my truck has been shipped and is on its way… expected at the end of this month. It’s going from KC all the way to Northern Ontario, Canada.
I’m...
Same... Finally!!!
Except it says my Lightning is on the way, which is definitely not what I ordered. The window sticker is accurate so that's what I'll go by.
Modules just started to populate today. I have about 918 so far. Not sure how many an XLT 302A should have. Curious how long from this point, the truck will be deemed built, barring any holds of course?
I'm in the same boat. That random VIN worked but mine does not get recognized. It works in the order track app however.
Also, does anyone know if Ford Chat is up and running today or is it closed for the holiday? The chat link does not seem to be available on the Ford website.
Blend date was Wednesday. Nothing has changed for me. Still “in production” and the modules page has nothing new on it.
Mine is being built in KC. I wonder if anyone else from KC has anything different?
Has this problem been rectified for vehicles that have not been built yet? Do we know that a 2023 truck with max towing package will have the same defective bolt installed or will they get ahead of this issue for new builds?
Does the app still work for your VIN? I keep trying and nothing seems to work. I have tried different vins of trucks already built from dealer website and those don't work either. My blend date is tomorrow.
Does anyone know at what stage of production that this tool https://fordfleetlive.com/#/vincalculatordemo will recognize your VIN and show you the relevant payload information? Is it past the blend date? Does the truck need to be completely built? etc...
