I also had issues importing for my 2021. Nuke and reload didn't seem to help. However, editing by holding down over any "Speed" displayed items to manually change the PIDs worked fine. The original post was very helpful in pointing out exactly which ones they need to be switched to.
That's what I'm curious about. Looks like several of the OTA updates on Tonesto's Power-Up tracker show "PCM" in the list of modules being updated. However, none of those descriptions really talk about anything to do with shifting gears. Does that mean the OTA is capable of triggering the...
Is that PCM update something that won't update OTA for you? Just wondering if there is any value in peeking at FDRS again, as long as the latest OTAs seem to have been working.
Nice! Highway speed E-mode would be huge if it could be made to work. All those 70mph long drives charging the battery up and then not being able to try using it...
What is the bar graph below the Electric Driving? I haven't seen that on my 21PB Lariat. Is that related to the Livernois...
I'm intrigued by this new eboost. Does anyone have any data or experience on what it gives?
Does it now work electric above 60mph? How much can you give on the gas in an electric mode before it goes back to gas? Any measurable changes to fuel efficiency by having the greater electric mode?
Anyone else with a 2021 just get another letter about going to the dealer to perform 21G01 hands-free updates? I thought it was interesting that the dealer "is authorized to provide a rental vehicle... while your vehicle is at the dealership for this update."
It makes sense for torque and hilly areas. On flat roads around here the one I wish I could skip was 8 (in favor of 9). Seems like the 45-47mph range by default wants 8th, but if you get to around 48mph you can force it to go into 9th and then slow down to 1.2 on the RPMs. Gives better...
Watch closely at the RPM gauge and see if this sound correlates going either to 0 RPM (lifting foot off the pedal to try and trigger it sometimes helps), or possibly combing back out of hybrid mode. If so, this could be the exhaust heat exchanger extender valve issue that is posted about...
Got 4.2.2 last night, updated on it's own about a day after getting 4.2.1.
No issues with CarPlay, Pandora still comes up nicely like before. However, one thing I though was a little odd was the headlight setting after the update. The truck was chiming at me when I turned off the engine, took...
Right, in theory the truck could check in and essentially do a "do you have anything for me?" request, which should work.
I'm wondering if the current OTA situation is more of an outbound cell signal (or like satellite radio activations) where there is a pulse sent out periodically and...
I'm debating turning the WiFi back on, just to prove that it works. In theory, they still owe me the .3 and .4 updates, so the expectation is that I know more are imminent.
I also have a router that logs unusual in/out activiity and I get reports. Seems the TCU is a registered network device...
So has anyone gotten an update via Wi-Fi? I think all of mine have happened after turning it off. Not sure I’m ready to tempt fate and try turning it back on…
I just got 4.2.1 today as well. Had been quiet since February, when I got 3.5.3 and the heated mirrors & license plate lights (PU100x series) updates.
I was also wondering what magic it took to trigger, was actually a full tank as of Monday...
Note that I could have sworn something yesterday...
Mine does this from time to time, seems like it can be cranky and decide not to run Carplay. I can go into Phone List and try various pairing buttons (phone, bluetooth/music) and the first two will light up and connect, but it thinks forever and won't start Carplay (the third button) when this...
My 2021 Job 1 received 3.5.3 OTA on January 25th, followed by 22-PU1009-TLC-CSM on Feb 16th, then 22-PU1007-DOR-UP on Feb 17th.
Assuming that has me up to date, nothing again since that little flurry of activity. However, have not seen anything claiming to be "3.5.4". Perhaps the other 2 PU...
Maybe it's already well known, but my wife accidentally discovered an interesting "feature" on our Lariat Powerboost. She pulled up and hit the power off button to stop the truck. The truck automatically did the "here, let me put it in park for you" and started moving the gear shifter forward...
My extender valve work was also covered by warranty. Took a couple visits for the technician to hear it and figure out what it was, but once they identified it was covered.
