This is most likely rail dust contamination caused by hot brake embers on the train burning thru the clearcoat during transport. If you maintain the appearance like you seem to have, it can take awhile for it to appear.

My 3.5 has a slight rough idle at times but nothing that concerns me too much. Many people reporting the same thing. As far as the "shudder" under heavy acceleration, yea I have that too. I don't know if I would call it a shudder but the power delivery is definitely not smooth. I've wondered...
@baggs32 Agreed, something does not pass the smell test here. I will be picking up the truck today or tomorrow and will press them for more information. Will report back.
Just a FYI on this issue. Mine clunking started at 1200 miles and I was unable to get it to the shop until 2800 miles. I did notice it progressively getting worse but it was the earliest I could get it seen. They called me on Friday, the day it was in the shop and let me know they had to order...
Many of us here, including myself, have this installed. No issues whatsoever and no discernable signal loss for FM stations.

Still loving my truck. I'm only at 2300 miles and 1200 of that was a trip to the Outer Banks in Sept. Only issue I have is I need to schedule with the service department because of the rear end thunk when the frame flexes. There's a thread on here about it.
Hope all you fellow 4/26ers are...
I waited over 7 months from order to delivery. The market has only gotten worse since then so I'm glad I stuck it out. My truck has exceeded my expectations and I absolutely love driving it. Very worth it.
So I think some clarification needs done here. Please someone correct me if I am mistaken.
1. I'm not sure the 2K classifies as a "generator" as the power is supplied by a inverter.
2. While using the 2K, the truck must be running the entire time. This is much different behavior than the...
I would agree that most of the observations here were just "I needed to push the fuses in a little further". While those situations were unlikely to cause any issues now or in the future, there were people like myself who had fuses (3) that definitely would have been a problem down the road. I...
I realize that 61 miles is a small sample size but overall I am pleased with my MPG on my 3.5.
I just completed a 500 mile trip from PA to NC thru the Virginia mountains and averaged 26. (verified at the pump)
100% agree. I wasn't having issues and like others have stated here, most of mine just needed that final "click". But...... I had three fuses that were destined to fail at some point.
PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: :)
If you currently own a 2021 F150, check the fuse block under the hood, on the passenger side, near the windshield. After seeing several comments about it, I popped my hood today and removed the fuse cover. I was astonished at how many fuses were not seated...
