Sorry, not to go off on a tangent but what is the auto start-stop removal? 2nd from the bottom.
I have the button above the center screen but from your sticker it almost makes it sound as if I wouldn’t have to press that button every time when I don’t want the auto start-stop.
Does your truck...
Same thing happened to me the morning of 2/12. As I was trying to shift it to neutral while the starter was clicking the shift lever detached from the column…aka broke off. I had to get it towed to the dealer. Once I get the truck back I will immediately turn off over the air updates.
ZFlyGuy do you have an old wifi router you can use use to setup another network for your truck? Not ideal, but probably a quicker fix then the alternative.
So I've tried all the things that you guys are trying... 2.4 to 5, signal strength issues, password...it turned out what fixed mine is the XXX.XXX.0.X. It had to be a zero. What led me done that path was I turned my phone's hotspot on with the same ssid and password and it connected to my phone...
Does anybody know if there is a way to get rid of the timer on the ac recirc mode? Like a setting in forscan? It’s a long shot, I know, but I’m tired of smelling all the smells of the road over my new truck smell.
I have noticed that when I’m driving, I don’t get any notifications on my Apple Watch. I did some digging “on the lines” and found out it had to do with the wireless CarPlay connection. I’m not a member of the thread I was reading and most of them referred to their BMW’s....probably not a lot of...
Just curious, why did you go with the auto start eliminator vs the $50 forscan? I can see the eliminator would be much easier, and I’m all for that, but for less money, you could do all the other things with the forscan.
Just like the title says. Even though Ford customer support team said it was not possible, I have stumbled upon the way to customize the name of saved locations in sync’s nav. Ie work, best friends house, etc.
From the navigation page, open your saved locations, swipe left on the location you...
The first I do when I get any new truck, turn off the annoying reminders. It’s usually just the seat belt reminder, but this is the first truck this has the occupant reminder too.
Having said that, I do like that this truck has the ablitly to see actual clicked seat belts. No more fooling...
Yeah it’s in your settings. I’m trying to remember off the top of my, I think settings-vehicle-general. If not there I know it’s in there. I turned that off as soon as could.
Setup: iPhoneX wirelessly connected to truck. Apple CarPlay disabled.
My problem: when I select pandora as a source through audio, pandora plays and functions for a short amount of time, then the truck, on its own, switches sources to FM.
My question: Is anybody else experiencing this problem...
Excellent, I had a hunch that’s what it was. Still, I don’t think the truck should mess with that, hopefully @Ford will solve it in a future truck software update.
