On a regular ICE engine with an alternator, the trailer battery is charged through the alternator. However, as the PB does not have an alternator/generator per se, does the trailer battery get charged through the Li-Ion battery pack? Or, the small reserve battery? It's just a curiosity...
I have looked at the owner's manuals but I cannot find where the F-150 XLT Powerboost has a 12 Volt DC receptacle (we use to call them cigarette lighter plugs). If I need to plug in a 12 volt gadget, would I then purchase a separate inverter plug? And will that mess with the current electronics?

I went to the Ford site to "build" a 2023 Powerboost. When I went to select a blue color, the system came back and said I would need to replace the Powerboost with 2.7. What? Color now makes a difference when ordering? I just don't get the new system and all the options.
