Good spot by Fordauthority - https://fordauthority.com/2022/03/2022-ford-f-150-lightning-prototype-spotted-with-sport-bar-accessory/
I haven't seen the sport bars or window deflectors fitted on the Lightning before.

I don't know if it's because it's next to the tow mirrors but the regular mirror looks really small, especially height wise. With that reduced vertical view I hope it has auto tilt when reversing!
On the other hand the trailer tow mirrors look great and adds a lot of function (BLIS). Can you...
I haven't seen a 2 door image anywhere yet so I don't think Ford has released any yet. I think we'll see improved towing capacity across the board. Maybe not by much since this is still the same platform as the 13th gen, but there's other bigger factors for towing that can be improved, like...
Silver lining is that the Ram TRX will debut soon so Ford will have time to tweak and tune the 2022 Raptor F-150 to top it.
Imagine the reverse situation where Ford debuted the new Raptor last night only to have the TRX come out with better specs just a few weeks later.
Nice anticipated build. Rapid Red Metallic isn't listed in the revealed 2021 colors list, but hopefully they continue making it for the Raptor. I'd love one in that color too. Looks SOO nice set off against the blacked out parts.
That would match what this site has listed ("2022 F-150 Raptor") in the info thread: https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/threads/2021-f-150-p702-info-thread-engines-features-colors-order-production-dates.38/
This site has listed the new Raptor as a 2022 model -- https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/threads/2021-f-150-p702-info-thread-engines-features-colors-order-production-dates.38/
I saw that the Mach E features the SYNC 4A so I'm assuming the 2021 F150 will get it too since it comes out before the Mach E (unless it won't be ready until the Mach-E). Anyone heard or read differently?
Do we know what SYNC 4A upgrades exactly over SYNC 4?
Remote tailgate release - I've seen it in action on a buddy's 2019. Pretty darn cool and handy. So definitely want this option.
OEM LED headlights and Intelligent Access are crucial ones too like you said.

From the spy pics we know the electric F150 is getting independent rear suspension, but are you guys interested in air suspension or traditional spring suspension if given the choice?
Pros for air suspension:
Ride quality
Adjustable
Improved towing capability (can increase firmness to account...
From all the pics/articles about the spied prototypes, I think the only trim model that could possibly feature air ride suspension is the electric F150 which has been spotted with independent rear suspension. The regular 2021 F150 has been spotted with leaf springs and the new Raptor with coil...
As I posted in the hybrid section...
I think it'll be a 3.5L twin turbo for the hybrid based on appropriate power level based on where Ford is going to position the F-150 hybrid in the lineup.
The 3.3L natural aspirated only makes 318hp / 322lb-ft in the Explorer Hybrid, versus the 3.0L turbo...
Voted for twin turbo based on appropriate power level based on where Ford is going to position the F-150 hybrid in the lineup.
The 3.3L natural aspirated only makes 318hp / 322lb-ft in the Explorer Hybrid, versus the 3.0L turbo which makes 494 hp / 630 lb-ft in the Aviator Hybrid.
And since...
Nice spot. Was the grille exposed? If so, did it look like one of these versions?
