I have a white single cab and am probably going to powdercoat my OEM 20inch chrome wheels in a bronze color.....about $1k....Better than $1k in new tires and ~2k in wheels.
not too bad. There are 5 "screws" that need to be dremmeled out. The badge is actually held on by the black plastic vent piece. So when you remove those five the top portion is a little loose but once its back on the truck its fine.
Got a few small visual mods gone recently.
Flipped the black walls to the outside (so much cleaner)
Plastidipped the chrome fender badges
Insert a customer coyote badge the "Badge King" had made for me.
You can talk to me like I'm an idiot....my backend (2WD) does not mush at all. It feels like it has no shocks at all....And I'm not sure what a "valve one" means. I know nothing about suspension...Picking up what I can around here.
I have a RCSB and I have no idea what to do about the rear end....I'm assuming because it is so light the rear shocks never compress making it bounce like crazy...How do I get rid of that? I dont want tolift or lower (maybe level by lowering the back)
honestly, I wouldnt recommend it....It looks ok and I"m glad the color matches. The seams are quite noticeable on gen14....Their website has zero videos of application to a gen14....Gen13 have the perfect bumper for shellz, that natural seam on both sides makes it look really good and seamless...
Yes I did gloss white. It matches well. I dont like when the pieces come together on the front. Pre 2021 they look much better due to the bumper being straight. But there literally isnt a single video of anyone installing these on a 2021+ so I had no idea what it would look like
Thanks that's mainly what I'm going for. It's a conglomerate of styles. This is my first build of any kind. Definitely a learning process. Probably going to paint the top and bottom of the grille to give it more of a gen14 look
Thanks, its getting there. Get the tires situated and a 2/4 drop will mainly complete it....A few fender badge and mirror cover paint jobs and that will be it.
The Lord won't let me get rid of the whitewalls. Did a double coat of ranger tire paint, let it sit for 36 hours and it couldn't even last a 120 mile drive. Guess I will just eat the $80 to flip the tires around and remount
