  1. Hail Damage to my 2023 F150

IMO, they must have skimped on their insurance to save on the premium or the insurer dropped hail coverage which would have been a red flag for me.
  2. Our coyote build thread.

apologies for my ignorance, would the vortech/centrifugal setup make it more economical over a twin screw/whipple due to the RPM based boost? Always was intrigued by forced induction but didn't want to sacrifice too much mpg/DD duty by adding it.
  3. New Tires: Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac RT

What size are you looking at?
  4. Show me your tints 😎

Can't wait, my registration is due 08/24...think if we wait until Jan we'll be in the clear? I don't see why not or do they do away with it starting '24 since you're registering for '25?
  5. Can I fit 34.37" OD Tires on stock wheels on my '21 PB with no modifications? If not, what mods are needed? thx

i also gave Falken a call and was told the same. I'm hoping the price point will still be similar instead of dropping $500+/ea for Toyo/Nitto.
  6. Can I fit 34.37" OD Tires on stock wheels on my '21 PB with no modifications? If not, what mods are needed? thx

Assuming this info is straight from Falken? Good to know, my 285/55 AT3's are bout ready to replaced and the Falken RT's didn't appeal to me. I like the price point of the Falkens as well. Do you have any further info on the AT4w's?
  7. New Tires (and Wheels) Advice for '22 Limited on 22s

simpletire.com gives you majority of available tires. discounttire.com if you have one in your area, they also price match.
  8. New Tires (and Wheels) Advice for '22 Limited on 22s

as mentioned, not many options with the 22" wheel to keep it economical. Most are going to be upwards of $400-500/ea. I personally run Toyo AT3's - however i'm in TX so no snow - purchased purely for aesthetics. Dropping to a 20" wheel with a 275/60r20 will keep your speedo happy and give you...
  9. Falken Wildpeak R/T - New Tire

Definitely looks good although i prefer the tread pattern of the Ridge Grapplers. I think im over the battle of keeping the front end true with the combination of level and heavy wheel/tire.
  10. Falken Wildpeak R/T - New Tire

Not yet, the AT3's are still going strong although they're cupped and howling pretty good. It's gotten so bad i'm considering dropping down to a 305/45 street tire. Your review and more pictures may change my mind though.
  11. 22” Tire size for 2 inch level

    i'd test fit a 285/55
  12. Powerboost Aftermarket Tires

keep that '22 in good shape and i may scoop it up from you...also in north tx
  13. 22" wheels on My 22 Platinum

Nice setup. Did you also pull the factory block alongside the drop shackles? If not, do so, will improve the look even more.
  14. '21 vs '22 --5.0 vs 3.5

Regardless of engine it will be tuned so not concerned. Granger, good idea - although i've been eyeing the smoked quartz and unfortunately no longer offered. Mid 60's for a Platinum aint happening around here (DFW) - $73-76k is what im seeing stickers at.
  15. '21 vs '22 --5.0 vs 3.5

appreciate the comments and the mention of declining prices even further after the '24s begin showing up. It may be best to ride it out a bit longer to see what it does. I'm in no rush with no issues out of my '13 outside of regular maintenance.
  16. '21 vs '22 --5.0 vs 3.5

they all have their bad apples, but will agree it's sometimes tough to justify getting into a used truck with how reliable the '13 has been.
  17. '21 vs '22 --5.0 vs 3.5

Might as well throw the PowerBoost into the mix - what are signs to look out for with a used unit?
  18. '21 vs '22 --5.0 vs 3.5

Going into a 10spd is the gear ratio not as much of a factor? I will be changing to a taller/heavier wheel & tire setup and always wanted the lowest gear i could get. 3.55 currently in my '13 does OK with the current 285/55, but it is also OZ tuned.
  19. '21 vs '22 --5.0 vs 3.5

In the market for a used '21-'22 Platinum. I've done research for quite some time but wanted to get some fresh opinions on which year and motor to go with. Current truck is a '13 FX2 5.0L. No issues out of it after 132k miles. Prices are starting to come down and i've got the itch to upgrade...
  20. Factory tint -- includes front windows?

likely just the natural hue of the glass. LA heat is no joke, put some ceramic film on all windows including a 70% ceramic on the windshield and not bake for the next 3-4 months. I've got a few shops to recommend if in Lafayette.
