I feel your frustration. My 22 Platinum went relatively ok even with a 3 month chip hold compared to my First Edition Bronco. Pretty sure you’ll think it was all worth it once you sit in the driver’s seat.

Mine has the step and is electric. Quite a bit of weight for sure. Don’t know how the power up will like the strut so I’ve ruled that option out for now. I do like the strap to hitch idea.

22 F150 Platinum, when the tailgate is down and not enough weight holding it down (like a bicycle) while driving it bounces like a cheap friend when the bar tab is placed on the table.. Is this normal, if so, any fixes?

Head winds are a killer to Ecoboost mpg. Watch your turbo boost gauge. If you are in boost the lock out gears 10 and possibly 9 until you are no longer in boost. This should get you back 1 to 3 mpgs

Btw, got an oil change and tire rotation. No max tow rear axle on my powerboost.

The lights also turn with steering as well as corner lights illuminating when turning left or right

I have a 22 platy with exact same issue including going from D to P (feeling the clicks) and ending up between R and P. I’ll give the fold feature a try. Mine doesn’t do it all the time.

That’s a +5.1% difference. Look up the specs on oem tire weight vs your existing tires. when choosing my tires, I wanted 1 size larger, same width and not much heavier. 275/65/20 (34.09” x 10.98) 47.53 lbs. Stock was dynapro at2 275/60/20 @ 41 lbs

I’m assuming you mean 295/70/18? If so, that’s +6.8% difference between the stock 275/65/18. If you are showing 17mpg, multiply by 6.8% (1.156) = 18.15mpg. The lift and bigger wider heavier tires are killing you. Width probably hurts the most, then weight. Unsprung weight is a killer to power...

Correct, you CAN’T have both CCD/scales AND FX4. If you have CCD, they replaced the 4x4 sticker with FX4.

I had someone do it for me using Forscan and have no idea what they did. I know you need an OBD cable to plug into the truck and windows laptop. You should be able to do a search and find more info. Or search for Jesse infotainment and send him a direct message.
