While I do enjoy the occasional range of 600 miles per tank, according to the guess-ometer, I personally would be ok with more usable battery with a slightly smaller tank. I picked on the 18 gallon tank, as that’s what the ranger has.

I have the same truck as you, but a 22. I went with the Carhartt covers from Ford for just the rear. They are kind of a canvas material and seem to be pretty sturdy. Surviving large dog and 2 kids. I don’t let them turn on the rear seat warmers, but everything else is functional.

My only gripe would be to add a plugin option. I understand that by doing so, it would cannibalize from the Lightning numbers, but it would be pretty sweet. My brother has a plugin Pacifica and can generally go most of the day without the engine kicking in.

I would argue that the dealers are upset that they won’t make their obscene margins on the service portion. Generally speaking, EV’s require less ongoing maintenance than ICE.

My dealer told me that this feature stopped working due to one of the forced-delete’s. I’m not sure which one though. I’d be interested if you get it working without adding stuff.
