Exactly. And as I said in my previous post, mine updated to 10/12/2022 (Dec 10) over the weekend with an OTA update so I would think everyone else’s should do the same.
That’s right. I would add that BlueCruise overall will still work past the expiration date it just won’t allow you to go completely handsfree. Since we’re approaching the September 10th expiration, I’m anticipating having the same issue if my OTA update doesn’t load immediately.
It’s not meaningless. Mine was originally March 14 and BlueCruise Handsfree was not working. I then received an OTA update which changed the date to September 10 and Handsfree now works. See pictures below:
I didn’t have a schedule set at first, but once I did, it took 3-5 days. I did speak to the OTA department hotline and they ran me through some steps to reboot the system, but I don’t think that did anything. If nothing happens in a week or so, I’d try calling them: (800) 392-3673.

I checked for OTA updates in the “Connectivity” screen on the display and it said it was up-to-date. But perhaps that’s just with regard to my general Sync version?
I took delivery of my F150 last week after it was built in January. Everything seems to be in line with what’s been discussed in this thread but I can’t get hands-free BlueCruise to engage on any major highways in metro Detroit. I’ve attached two pictures: one showing my Sync4 version and a...
I placed a 2022 order today. Even though the 2022 spec sheet has been out since September 15, today was the first day the bank was open and a 2022 order could be placed.
I ordered on December 14th, was assigned a Priority Code 10 and have a week of March 15 scheduled production date. I also live in Michigan which accounts for a relatively large share of US pickup sales, so I don't think there was any geographical detriment. I think the delay was simply that I...
