I was filling up washer fluid yesterday so I checked the coolant reservoir at the same time
6000 km past the repair and it seems to be holding
reservoir was pretty close to the same level even though its 40ish degrees colder than it was when it was last in the shop for the fix

I just got back with the truck
Looking at the service order it dumped a bunch of coolant on the floor while they were diagnosing it.
They aren't the best at documenting what they did though so I'm not sure if they just changed hoses or they...
In theory anyway unless Ford does something weird and has seperate part stocks for Canada and the US although that would be kinda stupid.
Not sure I believe they're going to have it fixed that fast either

Heat exchanger is broken again
They're refilling the coolant and letting me take it back this time though and said they are going to have the updated parts to fix it tomorrow
I'm currently at 17820 km and had a check engine light come on

Had the first oil change this morning as well and the service manager met me at check in with the agreed settlement money ready to go
So looks like I finally have everything settled up and the truck is good to go

It made it the week and around 460 km with no problems so small victory there as well
It looks like Ford customer care is going to give me 3 months payment as well as an 8 year/180000km warranty on the emissions system

Unfortunately the window stickers in the truck which is stuck at the dealership since they won't release it back to me due to it blowing the engine if it gets driven according to the service advisor
Had some movement today anyway on a new one so will just have to wait and see where it goes
they had said that the part was on backorder and they were going to try and get one from the assembly line.
I just heard from them and they might have one to fix it on a truck that should show up next week but they aren't sure if there are enough on it for them to get one

Mine overheated on the drive home from work last Friday
I don't know when it was built to track that but I took delivery at the end of January so I would guess a couple weeks to move through the line then get to me so in the middle of the bad run anyway.
