It looks like dealers can't place the orders until you receive your VIP email which should go out today. After receiving the email, you are supposed to configure it, place the deposit and it gets send to the dealer. Here's a pic from the dealer. (Sorry if this is old news to some of you)

For those hoping that the Ford's Raptor would have a V-8...
I'm liking what I see here. Looks like a high resolution display with no pixelation. The whole display changing colors with different drive modes is a cool touch.
I'm sure there are dealers willing to take a deposit without knowing pricing or any of the ordering specifics. It's basically just putting a small refundable deposit so when info is released you won't be last in line.
If anyone has already done so or plans to soon please let us know.

Time from production to delivery depends on which plant builds it and how they're shipping them (train, truck, driver, etc). But generally I've seen everything from as early as 10 days to as late as 40 days between production and arrival.
