Ours gets driven quite a bit. We will probably have around ~17k miles on it this first year of ownership. The most it has sat was maybe two days, and besides the occasional quick run to the gas station, most of our basic commutes are 15-30miles so it should have plenty of long runs to charge the...
I've had the Powerboost for just under a year now. I have gotten that alert to my phone maybe 3 -4 times now since owning it. It always started and hasn't given me issues so I have just ignored it. I decided to hook it up to my charger today since we are going on a longer trip and the charger...
I remember a post on here outlining what the sweet spot cost wise was for the extended warranty. I cannot find it through the search function. If I remember right it was 7 years and 100k miles? After that it jumped up in price quite a bit I believe.
I have 2022 Powerboost and I'm thinking...
Just what the title states. I've done some minor modding like turning off seatbelt alarms. The biggest one was disconnecting the back up beep on the Powerboost. I'm taking it in tomorrow to get the Auto Climate control looked at and also a oil change. Will they make a fuss at these changes...
@Snakebitten
My understanding there is a way to manually update to the 3.5.3? I'm on 3.5.2, 22' PB Lariat. Can you point me in the right direction if there is a forum explaining how? I've got OBDlink/forscan etc.
Okay, kinda what I figured. I'm sure they used the minimum they could for that connectivity. But maybe enough to get us by.
Yeah they kinda dropped the ball with "Generator Mode". They should at least have some options to save a preset for when it's enabled. Like shutting all the...
Thanks. Specifically meant the range of the cars modem to your devices. If it has enough strength to be parked outside and reach devices inside your home appropriately. Or if you need to be in or pretty near the truck.
How is the range of the trucks modem? We live in an area prone to power outages and Verizon goes down anytime the power does. I guess they don't use any backup power out here for their cell tower. Someone mentioned ATT does though so might look into it.
For anyone who cares. I've decided to go back down to stock size but in a lighter Toyo Open Country A/T III, still 10 ply. Will shed some weight/size but still have a really strong/capable tire for off roading. Seems like a good balance for my needs, fuel economy, and 3 peak rating.
I've been really considering them. I'm a little nervous since they are not an LT tire and I'll be doing a lot of gravel/off-road. Maybe I shouldn't worry. But I'm leaning towards the Toyo's right now since they are a lighter LT option.
I've been heavily considering that one with how light it is. I'd see some fuel economy return for sure. I'm just nervous to run it since it's not an LT tire and how much I'll be running gravel roads and trails.
I've gravitated towards the Toyo Open Countries IIIs now since they are a lighter...
This seems to mimic exactly what I experienced when calibrating. Though, instead of changing the value to 2525, I left it and used that spreedsheet to gps tune. Not sure if I should have done it differently, but I am almost exactly 1 MPH off.
Were you able to get the GPS calculation dead on? I did it with that spreadsheet calculator and forscan, and I'm about 1 MPH off from the GPS. I was also a little unsure which line we were supposed to read the base "current hex value" from. Can you clear that up if you know?
