Has anyone noticed that it is much worse with a trailer on behind that has 1500 to 2000lbs loaded?
I have say after the TSB when my truck is empty and not towing anything I could easily with it but I use primarily to tow my tows.
TSB performed on my 21 Limited Hybrid 3.5, it seemed to help with the 1600 rpm shudder when in gear 9 or 10, now that it has been 1000km, the shudder is back. Dealer took it back in and had a Ford engineer drive and here is what the work order says. Pretty much Live with it.
My 2021 Limited Hybrid has had the TSB 22-2224 applied. The truck is no better. The shudder in 9th & 10th gear is just as bad. At 127kmph you don't even need to accelerate, just maintaining that speed it will shake my cell phone out of the holder. When it starts the vibration at that speed...
Dealer doesn’t know what he’s doing. Don’t waste your time with Official Ford user. Supposedly there is a software fix coming. Once passed by EPA dudes. Now I don’t know if this statement has been verified.
Can I ask where in Ontario you are and what dealer? I am in Kingston Ontario and have a 2021 Limited PB that has all of the symptoms. New tires been to two different dealers, they just kep throwing parts at it.
No load & no trailer at attached speed and RPM my phone will almost vibrate out of...
I am not sure that I am in the correct section any longer, with my 21 Limited the vibration at the RPM and speed in attached can be felt in the whole truck, not just the gas pedal. This is with no load or trailer. Phone almost vibrates of phone holder. Nothing in steering wheel. Canada does not...
$96,000 for a Limited here in Canada and this really sucks. They changed my plugs last week, no difference. Torque converter on order to try next. So disappointing, 3 previous Lariat’s with no issue.
On my 2400 km trip, I tried every mode for 2 hours at a time, no difference. Dealer called and admitted that the 3.5 engine cracks the porcelain on the plugs and is putting a new set of plugs in mine on Wednesday. He says it will be obvious when they pull the old ones if they are cracked. They...
I just returned from a 2400km trip pulling a 24’ trailer with two SxS on it so around 5000lbs. I did worry a bit about it failing and leaving on some Pennsylvania Mountain Road but no issues. Ram highest octane fuel I could find, ram in every Drive Mode, the only thing that made a difference was...
I have a 2021 Limited Hybrid and earlier posted that I have the same issue, just returned from a 2400km trip to West Virginia. I was convinced that this is a transmission/torque converter issue as it was happening when the trailer I was pulling pushed me down the slopes and engine breaking in...
A lot of these trucks never pull anything so they may never notice. I agree with you though, my 2020 Lariat never exhibited these symptoms. The burning candle I have witnessed as well and had hoped it would catch fire. To me that smell is a fuel issue.
Kingston area. I’ve asked for the truck back. I leave for West Virginia on Thursday and don’t need them messing it up. I suspect Ford knows well about this issues, if they fixed it, it will mess up their EPA ratings and they would be in the mess VW was a few years ago.
Yes I still have the truck, it went to the dealer yesterday for further troubleshooting. U Joints and driveshaft replaced months ago. Issue no better with 30,000km on it.
I have a 2021 Limited Hybrid Powerboost, the vibration is not just through the pedal. At times my cell phone will come off magnetic holder. 1500 rpm in 9th or 10th gear, slight acceleration or gradual incline. Been to two dealers now, first one replaced driveshaft and U joints. Next one shimmed...
