Anyone try building a 2.7 lariat lately? It wont let you order 4x4 with the 2.7 engine? It bumps you up automatically to the 5.0 litre.
Also heard today, the 1500 discount with the 2.7 is gone. Ford incentives are gone, lease rates are up. This is in Canada
Wow...thats good to know.
Thanks for that info. My only concern which has been brought forward over the years was the MpG for the 2.7 was overstated. I hope the 2021 is closer to what they are advertising. So far, feedback on this forum seems people are happy with MPG.
Hi There From Ontario Canada
greatly appreciated if you could look into my Vin for a build date. Just received my window sticker April 7th, Ordered Dec 2, 2020.
VIN - FTEW1EP0MKD759461
My 2018 lariat is a 10 speed. The 2.7 didn't live up to expectations for milage.
That's why I'm so curious if people are now getting the mpg that ford had stated in previous years. It sounds like there may have been some improvements which in reality is what they promised 3 years ago.
Would...
So the concensus is from the new 2.7 litre owners that we have better gas milage then previous years? I'm not seeing that type of milage on my 2018 lariat. Looking forward to my 2021 :)
Wow, Wow... on a brand new vehicle with no engine break in.
What trim do you have? 4x4?
Anyone else experiencing new and improved mileage on their 2021 compared to any other years with the 2.7?
I drive conservative and have never seen that on my 2018 502A lariat.
I have 2018 2.7 lariat, waiting for my 2021 on order since Dec in Ontario.
I am extremely happy to hear you see an improvement over the 2018 which was way off in its estimates. I agree how u drive this truck will affect milage considerably. The fact u see a considerable difference (assuming u...
Ordered Mine Dec 2, 2020, still no news on build. I'm concerned it might go longer then we all want. I guess depending on options ordered there are delays, I have ordered a few options.
The 2022's may come out latter this year, which would seem like we are getting a year of depreciation. Not...
Looking at the orders listed in this forum, not many 2.7's.
I talked to my dealer in ontario, he said the majority of his orders are for the 2.7. Maybe in the USA the preference is 3.5 and in Canada is 2.7? Gas cheaper in the US, then Canada.
Great review...I thought u listed u had a generator? I wouldn't mind not getting the power tail gate either, but I dont think u have a choice if u want the tailgate step.
Very nice looking truck?
Congrats
meh,...its ok for mileage. 2.7 liter has not lived up to the mpg as advertised. Nice engine, does what I need, without paying premium price on larger engine. Highway 80 mph should be optimal for mileage ratings. Its been a mild winter thus far, so mileage will get worst as it gets colder.
Does anyone think that long term, the 2.7 would be less demand and value for resale, compared to the V8 and 3.5. I thought V8 was being replaced with 2.7 eventually but at this point v8 still going strong. I'm starting to think the 2.7 won't hold value compared to the other engines? Again just...
I'm curious if the 2.7 will phased out before the V8. After seeing all the orders here, most are the 3.5. The hybrid will get more popular, V8 still has a following, and of course we are all waiting for the ELECTRIC. I hope I didn't make a mistake for resale ordering another 2.7 lariat. Just...
So much publicity, dealers were pushing customers to test drive them. Dealers had so many on the lots. Seems it's not the engine of choice any more.
I have had the V8 2015, I have the 2018 2.7 502A lariat now. Honestly love both engines, miss the growl of the V8 just a little. Excited for my...
Foward sensing system, is that not the same as the parking sensors? Wow, how can an XLT have a different/ better 360 co pilot assist package than a 502A. If it was an oversight, Ford just include it on the models that are not built yet.
