Same thing for me. 2022 lariat 501A 3.5L FX4.

I only drive in normal but my tranny is also very clunky on downshift especially when going into 3rd. It also skips 2nd 99% of the time on upshifts and downshifts. Kinda embarrassing to drive around my small town with a new truck and people look at you like ur an idiot for buying a new truck...

They didn’t say why but I’ve read online about some others guys having some coil issues. Don’t think it’s too widespread though. Mine is a 2022 3.5 eb. Hopeing to get it to dealer next week for that tsb I’ve been reading about. Good luck

Replaced coil and spark plug on cylinder 4 solved that problem. No fix for the hard shifting and shuttering tranny though.

Has anyone had this tsb done? What were the results? Did the driveshaft fix it? Or the tsb?

Are u guys seeing the shudder disappear in sport mode? I was thinking my 2022 went into 4wd when I put it in sport mode? Also I believe u have to scroll into sport mode every time u start the truck? Guess maybe I need to play around some more with it

Are u guys experiencing rough down shifts? Especially fifth or fourth to third and 10-9? Plus the tranny shutter?

2022 3.5 eb just turned 2000 miles. Trans shudder seems to be getting worse. Hard clunky downshifts especially 5-3 and 10-9. Haven’t seen it go into 2nd gear yet. First f150, have previously had f250s without any complaints. Wish I had come across this forum before I bought this truck
