They claim typical trans issue, but some are worse. My expedition has the 10 speed, with the EcoBoost, quiet. The service manager who ride with me, says yea I hear it, and it's louder than normal, but still normal.

I have the same complaint. Not normal trans whine in the 10 speed, when started after a cold sit, much louder and goes away when normal op temp reached. Dont remember on test drive or taking home. Has 5000 miles now, seeming to get worse. Left at dealer for a week, with the "we hear nothing"...
