Picked up mt Platinum at the end of May and my tailgate has made the same loud pop just before the locking mechanism takes over. The tailgate also has a slight stutter in movement when I hear the pop. It is incredibly annoying that a brand new truck sounds and looks very broken.

The ride was good, now it is fantastic. Potholes and speed bumps don’t exist anymore and the body roll is gone. the alignment brought the front end up another 1/8-1/4 inch. I tow long distances so I am leaving it alone and enjoying the better ride.

This does seem to only be an issue on higher trim levels with the Powerboost. They cannot be adjusted on the truck. They need to have the springs compressed to adjust.

That means you have the gen13 shocks with the stiffer springs. Roush does not use the new softer ones. Fox told me to add preload or swap for those to get more lift. Looks good.

I have a very similar issue to the OP. I have a 22 platinum PB. I have installed the new 21-22 specific Fox 2.0 level and only got 3/4” of lift. I have opened a case with Fox and they are looking into the issue. They did tell me they have another PB case where the guy got 7/8”. So far the...

That truck was a BAP until Ford performance got their hands on it. Those emblems are not the standard BAP they are a performance part. The tailgate had a black panel across it and that does not come on bap except for platinum, and the wheels were different. If you want the black chrome talk...

The Black Appearance Package is not black chrome. It is gloss black and they look different. That was a custom show truck and not a standard package.

Ordered My Truck for the second time in Oct. 2 weeks ago my dealer told me to delete the bed liner since Line-x is nicer and the same price. The following Monday I got scheduled for week of 4-4. He also advised against any kind of cover
