Yes.. I do live in Austin and use the freeways and toll roads every day with BC on. It regularly misreads the 60 mph access road signs while I am on the highway or the 70 mph toll lane sign on mopac when I am in the non toll lane which is 65 mph.
I just reset the speed and keep going..
Thank you for the clarification.. I do have the CMR FX and a few other updates. I do see BC stays engaged better. I rarely have false warnings on keeping my eyes on road from even before the update for it.
My biggest issue is how close to the right lane marker my truck likes to drive on BC.. I...
I know you have all the best toys and features on your rides in addition to the sage advice and thoughts you share with all of us 😊..
May I ask how you got BC 1.3 plus on your PB?
Considering that I drive over 25 miles every day on BC, 1.3 plus is one feature I am really looking forward to!
If turned on, the truck recognizes speed limit signs and adjusts speeds automatically. When there are speed limit signs on access roads, some times it reads that sign and changes the speed.
It also reads the wrong speed sign if there is a different point speed limit for a toll lane or an HOV...
Auto resume will switch to stopped after 15 to 30 seconds of being fully stopped, both when you are in BC or ACC.. I haven't seen it behave differently between ACC and BC..I have also noticed that the duration it stays in auto resume is not consistent..
I guess I am not the only one who is having this issue!
By fiddling with the temp dial, I can achieve the temperature that feels comfortable which tells me the AC as well as the heater actually work.
However, there is little corelation between the temperature shown on the screen VS the actual...
@tbinmd is correct.. It is not dependent on whether you are on a BC enabled highway or not..
It depends on how long you are stopped.. Beyond a few seconds, you have to press the resume button for ACC to take over again.. Happens to me all the time..
I am not sure the dealership can limit you to getting a rental from the Enterprise rental nearest to the dealership.. You should be able to get a rental from any Enterprise rental place as they are all company owned and they have access to the rental authorization.
As for the dealer denying...
This is exactly what my grandfather taught me.. If you give money or anything else to anyone, do it without expecting to get it or something else in return.. It makes for a lot more peaceful life... It's just that simple! Agree with you 100%..
You are right as always 😊...
Update successfully completed in about 25 to 30 minutes..
I guess now the wait starts for the 7.0.0 update.. I use BC every day for over 25 miles.. It will be good to get BC 1.4!
22 PB Lariat with BC and 7.2k inverter.. 32,000 miles with one issue where a connector got a loose connection..
I recently got to drive a 22 Tundra for a week and badly missed my PB! Low end torque, effortless acceleration that is smooth and quiet, BC, which I use everyday for at least 20...
I just got home from a pizza run and got the message that the truck is ready to install this update - 24-PU0105-CMR-FX and that it will take 50 minutes.
It is currently installing.
But from what I read above, we still need 7.0.0 for BC 1.4 to be operational and no ETA on when that will be...
I rarely open it.. However, I keep the sun screen retracted during the winter months and the interior feels airy and more spacious. And I haven't had any issues in 30k miles.
I do like it and would definitely get it again.
I have tow mirrors even though I don't tow at all.. The visibility on them is just "vast".. And for lane changing, I don't have to look back at all because the lower mirrors absolutely cover the blind spots on both sides...
They are just safer and more convenient.. I have zero regrets and can't...
On my normal driving, on city freeways with speeds of 75 to 80 mph, after filling the tank, DTE typically reads around 500 miles (my lifetime average is 18.9 mpg with 28k miles)... However, if I fill the tank and start on a road trip, DTE keeps increasing for the first hour or so.. It is really...
Thank you for the explanation... I wasn't sure what stage the roll out is currently in.. If currently just the Mach E EAP is getting the update and even that is on hold, I guess updates to F150s is definitely NOT imminent! 😊
Considering that not many other automobile companies are even doing...
I got this update on Dec 12th and nothing since then.. Waiting for the 6.4.0 and or 6.5.0 before the 6.8.0..
What I am really looking forward to is the BC 1.3 update! I use BC every day for 25 plus miles and can't wait for the update!
