Mine has the exact same noise - they did that bulletin - did not change anything - the rattle comes and goes based on seat position - If you put pressure on the seat back it stops but I'm experiencing the same thing in my 21. The dealer hasn't been great at rattle fixing. My truck has been a...
I had this snap crackle noise almost like a ratchet strap - the dealer had already replaced my rear axles - they had to retorque the bolts and the noise went away.
I'm following this - mine does that - I notice it when accelerating and braking at low speed - metallic clanking noise. I've already had by rear axles replaced for the bolts shearing so it's not that.
The speaker in question still works it just rattles at certain bass frequencies. When I take it back in to get it replaced I'll ask. I don't think that the amp is doing anything to protect it.
In theory, it can only be the AIPM, or the DSP right? Those are the only things that would affect sound quality. IDK. I only really listen to music from my phone and I plug it in, so logically that makes sense.
No - it was the passenger door speaker. The overhead speaker just sounded better, before depending on the quality of the songs played it would crackle at high volume and now it doesn't. I tested it with all the same songs I always listen to and it's noticeably better. My longstanding theory on...
No, I've always had it on surround. I drive the truck a fair amount and am very familiar with how it all works and the various audio settings. I dropped it off Monday morning - the SA said they did something, but at this point I don't know what - and when I picked it up there was a noticeable...
Can you see the line for the speaker? I know I'm not completely crazy, it 100% sounds different than before - the center channel speaker isn't as pronounced as it was before and the dash speakers are producing more noise and the highs are better - they didn't mess with the EQ, it was the same as...
Yeah, the speaker was 3 days out on Monday - Ideally they should be able to get it done this week - or maybe next. Lol, I Karened out at Ford because it was in the shop for about a month waiting on the new transmission to arrive. It wasn't back ordered or anything so even the dealer was confused...
I'm curious what you will find - I took it in for a blown speaker and there was an issue with the reverse brake assist which was also a software update. I've had a boatload of issues with my truck (transmission failure at 200 miles which required complete unit replacement) Overall, I'm happy...
No, they have to order the speaker so I picked my truck up waiting for the new speaker to come back. Once they actually replace it I'll have paperwork because the RO is still open.
YES! I didn't ask for it - they just did it. I texted them after I picked it up to confirm and the SA said they did. Previously I drove a 2020 Mercedes w/ the Burmeister Surround and loved it - I bought my F150 in November and was okay with the B&O but missed the system in my Benz, now I don't...
