So I ordered my truck in March and just got my VIN recently. Of course its being built at the KC plant which is shut down for at least the next 4 weeks. I found a truck near me with almost everything I want for invoice pricing. The only thing it doesnt have is the B&O system. How hard do you...
So I was just informed that it will not be a tremor package. But instead it will be its own trim level. I wonder if thats so they can classify it as a specialty vehicle and not give people x plan pricing on it.
I have a quick question for everyone talking about payload. I want the Platinum SCrew 3.5 ecoboost with 5.5 bed. On the specs it says 2,100 pounds. But what model is Ford using to get that 2,100?
Man I wish you could get leather seats on the xlt. Ventilate seats are a lifesaver in South Carolina. Im having to jump all the way to platinum to not have the chrome bumper. (Lariat sport red interior is a no go for me)
The powerboost gets 24mpg. 3.5 eco gets 20.
Lets use 15,000 miles per year. And gas at $2.50 a gallon.
Powerboost
15,000/24=625 gallons of gas
625x2.50=$1562 per year on gas
3.5 Ecoboost
15,000/20=750 gallons of gas
750x2.50=$1875 per year on gas
1875-1562= $313 per year difference in gas...
I thought this too. Until I did the math on it. It would take years to save money from the tiny MPG difference to make up for the price of the engine upgrade.
So I’ve been wanting the lariat sport but I hate the red dashboard. Now I’m seeing if it’s possible to get a plain black interior if I get the chrome package instead. I’ve been looking at the build and price but wanted to make sure it wasn’t a glitch in the system
My first post here. I have been dead set on the PB since it was announced. But the more and more I look at it I realize I don’t really need it if I won’t be using it like a generator. The gas mileage compared to the 3.5 ecoboost doesn’t offset the price increase at all. Is there any other...
