Old post I know but I found this with the search function! I'm considering these tires in the same size due to their light weight and mostly positive reviews. Can you give a general update on them? I'm especially interested to know how the noise is and any overall mpg drop since you've had...
Thanks for the detailed review. Yeah this makes me hesitant to go with the Falkens. They have almost universal positive reviews but with a 60lb weight I'm not sure that I want to take the MPG hit you took. I wonder if the Toyos would have been much different as they are about 52 lbs. The...
Yeah same here as for as my use. Would be interested to know your mpg change since you are going up in weight and size with these but dropping down in rolling resistance.
Thanks for posting these pics. Not exactly a cool offraoding tires but these look better than the previous version. I will probably get a set once I need new tires as I've had the Defenders before and they were excellent, even on mild trails. If you've had the previous version, do they ride...
I'm thinking about doing the same. Either the same size as you or 265/70/18. Either way, it's about 50 lbs. Would be curious as to what mpg hit you take after you've had them a bit.
I've had the Michelins and found them to be excellent. Probably one of the smoother riding e rated tires I've had. I only used them for mild off road use, mostly roads. They don't have that cool sidewall look but otherwise I recommend them highly.
When I did this a few months ago I at first tried lowering my jack slowly and getting the pins to align as I got closer. I ultimately figured out to just lower the jack quickly and they went right into place. Not sure if that was the best idea but it worked well on my end.
Looks so good with the Falkens. That's one of the tires I'm considering when my stock tires wear out. They are pretty heavy tired compared to other brands of similar size. What is your driving impression of the Falkens?
RAS like new $400 in DFW area.
Works as advertised. You can read the many positive reviews online. Selling because my trailer is very lightweight and so I don't get the full benefit. It does very much reduce porpoising and sag and also improves general handling. Item number included in the...

Undercover SE for a 2021+ F150. It is a great cover with no damage. Basically like new. Completely watertight and lockable (key included). I expect it will last forever. Will include wall mount for wall hanging and help with install if needed.
