I'll need to fire up Forscan to see the checksum since I only looked at the backup using As-Built Compare. I did upgrade to the H8 and it fills the battery tray so as long as you have nothing else in the tray you should be good to go. I have been monitoring my voltage and SOC and it hovers in...
Yes, I'm curious to see what happens when you revert back to 80%. I just went out and checked after driving around all morning and I'm at 63%. Question for you, I know you bought a new BMS Shunt and although the part number is identical to mine did you replace yours with the newly obtained one...
No, you did nothing wrong as I too had the 80% SOC when installed after a top off charge. Currently I am seeing roughly 70-75% SOC and not sure why furthermore, @Big Dog Daddy had a 100% SOC when he installed the H8 and IIRC, he was still set at a 90% SOC Target but stated he was going to go...
The only difference between us is I have an S21 which last post about 2 weeks ago on the beta forums is that they're having issues with it. I should go to Verizon and have them replace my S21 with an S22... SMDH
Not sure yet but, I just ran to the store during my lunch break and mine went even higher and IIRC it went as high as 10. Let me observe this for a bit and I'll dig in. One thing about this app, what a PITA when starting... why can't this app just go right to scanning with last settings rather...
In all honesty, I really don't think the battery would overcharge, I feel the Target SOC is exactly what it states, maintain a 90% SOC versus an 80%. The BMS if I'm thinking right should stop it from overcharging but regardless of heat and in the summer it should get there faster, I could be wrong.
Update on the new H8 battery I installed on Saturday:
As some of you know my truck sat in a lot from Mar 21 to Oct 21 due to the chip shortage. When I took possession the current battery had issues within the first week i.e. deep sleep, no auto start/stop and lights dimming on startup so the...
