  1. Rattle Glovebox Bolster

Not a problem….sorry it is happening to you & others! Just a couple of tips if you tackle this on: - There are other posts on the forum about dash removal. Check those out, you’ll have to go all the way over to the driver side removing stuff. I didn’t remove my screen, but looking back...
  2. Rattle Glovebox Bolster

Yes…I had this same issue on my 2022 Platinum. Drove me nuts. Took apart the dash trim just enough to remove the entire glove box and put 3M foamy/adhesive tape where the front “fascia” of the glove box is bolted onto the plastic door. 3 bolts to remove, but you can’t do this while it’s...
  3. Not Using Electric Mode

I think I might’ve posted in another thread, but I have my truck back after the starter/generator replacement and have put 800 miles on the truck since getting it back a week ago today. She’s running great!
  4. Power-Up and Priority OTA History Thread (F-150, Lightning, Mach-E)

Appreciate this - I had wondered if the EV mode thing was just due to the hybrid SOC. Funny you mentioned the transition being smoother. I’m noticing that the 1-2 shift is different so far. Doesn’t rev as high in 1st before going to 2nd and into 3rd and overall feels much better. I had just...
  5. Power-Up and Priority OTA History Thread (F-150, Lightning, Mach-E)

Yes - it downloaded and I hit install and walked in the house. Said it would take 16 minutes and it did complete the install.
  6. Power-Up and Priority OTA History Thread (F-150, Lightning, Mach-E)

My truck just downloaded Priority Update 23-PU1009-SS-NS about an hour ago after a drive and I’ve got a 2022 Platinum Powerboost. It’s not going into EV mode now, and it was shaking with the engine off when started. Kinda like when you press your brake pedal and hear that pump whining when the...
  7. Powertrain malfunction/reduced power

PowerBoost. I was not getting any low battery/remote features disabled messages. I only got that message after the truck sat untouched at the dealer for 2 weeks before my part came in.
  8. Vibration/rattling from behind glove box

I had a similar vibration from behind my glove box. Took it to the dealer and they torqued the bolts on the BCM to spec. I think they used chassis ears to find it. If that doesn’t fix it for you, I had to remove the upper glove box, disassemble it, and add 3M sticky tape in between the upper...
  9. Powertrain malfunction/reduced power

My dealer called yesterday with good news! The part that they had originally expected to arrive mid-March showed up & they dropped the truck off in my driveway yesterday evening. I have since driven it 120 miles and all is good. I’m noticing that the EV/ICE transition is much smoother and...
  10. Crushing disappointment of my Dealer doing a simple tire change

Try this one on for size….Belle Tire location near me left my driver door open while putting my truck on the lift and scratched the paint down to the bare metal. Looked like the driver door was open and resting up against one of the posts on a 2 post lift while things were happening. Had to...
  11. CarFax

Found this link on a YouTube account a couple years ago and while it seems sketchy it’s worked great for me... https://www.autovhr.com/deal/ $5.99
  12. Powertrain malfunction/reduced power

Thanks…if I could buy it and put it myself I would! Dealer told me I am looking at late March to get my truck back. 5 other PB trucks came into my dealer for this exact issue after I dropped mine off according to my service advisor.
  13. Powertrain malfunction/reduced power

This was the TSB that applied to my issue (P0A1E in PCM)
  14. Powertrain malfunction/reduced power

I see where you are going with this and I agree….how is this providing any substantial power for the EV side of things when you have regen and the electric motor itself in the trans... Maybe it functions like an alternator for the 12V system? Also, this infographic talks about it running the...
  15. Powertrain malfunction/reduced power

That is the first time I’ve heard a date at all - so thank YOU! The dealer did drop off a 2023 Explorer XLT AWD with 12 miles on it in my driveway. Still has plastic on the rear seats lol. Nice and zippy but like all rentals, it makes you want your truck back!
  16. Powertrain malfunction/reduced power

No problem. The Ford CS rep was very nice and helpful on the phone and reached out to the dealership to assist them in marking the part “priority/emergency” and said that she would give me weekly updates. We will see…..best of luck to you guys also having the same issue!
  17. Powertrain malfunction/reduced power

It is indeed both a starter and also an alternator. Here’s a printout from my dealer with the part number (it’s on a national backorder with no ETA from the supplier per a call with Ford CS this morning)
  18. Not Using Electric Mode

Update - still do not have the truck back. All recalls and small things completed, but the BISG is on an indefinite backorder with no ETA.
  19. FORScan Changes Made; 6.8 Update Fail - Coincidence?

That is correct…believe it or not. Was sitting in my home office getting angry about someone’s alarm going off until I realized it was mine, just sitting there in the driveway. Had a suspicion a software update happened and went out side to check. 6.8.0 had just updated successfully.
