I think it is. I haven’t driven at night since I got it put in, but driving at night before I could tell it would be nice to have. Also, it’s a cheap part in the long run, and if you console is already apart for the cup holder, it’s nothing extra to put the media bin light in.

The latter process is what my dealer is doing. Not sure if it makes a difference, but having X-plan allows me make a complaint and potentially trigger an audit if they don’t follow through.

As long as you don't make a change related to body type, engine type, or trim level, your price protection is still valid.

Do you have any DORA or deposit or any paperwork signed from your initial order? That along with Ford's email showing price protection should be enough to make your dealer stop their shenanigans.
