Yea flat non-metallic colors show blemishes the easiest because there's no metallic flakes or higher reflective property to help mask the imperfections. Gets even worse with darker colors.
Just posted to Ford's twitter is this image with no description but looks like we're looking at the inside of the tailgate folded down, with some kind of built in hard plastic protector. It's got a handy ruler on it and can be used as a work table to clamp onto etc.
Supposedly the shifter when folded down will have a sliding cover that goes over it to create a flat working / storage area.
Still wondering what the alternative shifting method there’ll be when the middle console shifter is folded...
Since the center dash area for the screen has been enlarged to accommodate the huge 15”+ screen, now there’ll be even more dead trim space surrounding the middle and smallest sized screens unfortunately.
Good news from BorgWarner which should help the new production timeline stick.
BorgWarner will resume some transfer case production for F-150 in early May
They've got a month still to iron that out. If they invite just a few of the biggest auto publications they should still be able to do a live in person reveal while observing social distancing. That together with an online streaming reveal should be enough considering how Ford releases all the...
That's nice, I like that. Grille bars and lights are both big improvements IMO. I like the grille more open and the new headlights make the front end beefier and tougher looking compared to the curvy headlights of the current one.
2021 vs 2020 Lariat fronts compared:

The 2021 F-150's grille is an evolutionary form of the outgoing truck's, but it also bears resemblance to its midsize brethren, the Ranger. Altogether, though, its slender construction helps to shape a lean and more muscular front end. It's bisected by a bar that runs from one...
I think it'll be a non-turbo 3.5L V6 in the hybrid F150. So I don’t think the PHEV is going to hit 400hp. It should have real good torque though with the electric assist.
Will this be the last gen F-150 with the 5.0L option? With the hybrid and electric versions being rolled out I'm sure that is the direction but if people keep buying it...
IMO Tesla left a gaping hole for the traditional truck makers to fill. The Cybertruck could've been a real threat to Ford considering all vehicles are moving to EV but instead of making a broad appealing (or just plain appealing) truck they decided to go appeal completely to the fringe.
All...
Yea the 14th gen seems to be much more about the technology improvements and interior upgrades than a revolutionary exterior change. Four wheel steering is definitely a big new feature. Just hope they price is reasonably.
Damn these are stunning CGI. Almost looks like artsy images you'd see in a brochure. Amazing how simplified lights easily cleans up and improves the front end. I think the new light blades / boomerangs looks especially nice with the Raptor grille since it opens up even more space for the...
