Insurance companies already know your license plate number and love to collect data for any excuse to raise premiums or settle claims to their benefit. So depends on what you are doing and what site you might be on. I sure wouldn't be on a race track showing a license plate.

Ford seems to have finalized a 2024 retrofit package and the part number is RL3Z-19H332-AA. Which is backordered. Also requires $185 install purchase if you go through Ford Accessories. But some dealers have stock on hand so you may have to search. Install PDF is attached.

Correct part number for KC builds is now RL3Z19H332B according to the Ford Parts online lookup. And it is back ordered. Barry

Picked mine up this Monday June 17. Ordered April 10 and shipped May 31. Right on original schedule. RCSB 4x4 from Kansas City and $2500 of incentives.

Maybe I will be the first for MY2024. Will take a look when it is delivered and check with the parts folks at dealer. Will update with what I discover. It isn't an option for XL single cab 6.8 bed, just the 8.0. But pretty sure all the wiring will be there like 2012-2023. Barry

Has anyone added the Ford trailer brake controller to a 2024? In my case is for XL single cab short box which is in transport so have not peeked under the dash to see what is already there for wiring. But seems likely it should be similar to the 2012-2023 I have seen online. 2024 part# seems...

Just another data point, I ordered a single cab, short bed XL 4x4 on April 9, got the scheduling from Ford on April 11 and is supposed to be produced the week of May 27. Normal retail sale priority code of 19.
