I went OEM for the "cleaner" look. It comes down a little hard the last few inches. I thought it was because of the heavy tailgate protector/mat I put on it but I guess it's a somewhat normal way of it functioning. I'm okay with it. It doesn't slam just more of a hard stop.
I recently bought the premium care for my 2023. I toyed with going with the extra care instead because I bought an XL trim model and it doesn't have a lot of the bells and whistles that could fail but the difference was around $400 (US) and I figured one failure of the few things not covered by...
I've got a rug that's somewhat lightweight I flip it over and use a couple long ratchet straps to hold in place. covers hood windshield, roof and side wind is windows. have a bedmat to help with it. not totally covered but gets a lot of it. had tornado and storms last week. got some hail but no...
I've had my XL 13 months and have put 4600 miles on it. 2.7 seems to work well and the transmission shifts good. The fit and finish of exterior and interior is all good. No gaps or misaligned doors or hood ect. No imperfections in paint . I've been a Ford guy all my life. I've had to take 2...
drive a 2020 at work. 93K and no issues. bought a 23 built in December of 23 in April of 24. I'm at about 4500 miles and all seems good. First 800-1000 seemed a little off occasionally but has since settled and shifts great.
I used some heavy duty 2 sided tape about 1 inch wide. First I removed the access panel and lined it up and drilled holes for each of the panel screws.. The factory screws were long enough to secure mat and panel. I then used the tape around the edges. Been a year and it's still holding.
Purchased my protect through Flood last week. Was going to just get the ExtraCare because my XL doesn't have a lot of the "extra" comforts that the upper trims do but for a little under $500 I went ahead with the Premium 10/100.
I find it odd that a tire maker would make the exact same tire you can go buy at a local tire shop different for an auto maker. I guess it's possible. Seems the cost of setting up machines for different compound combinations and keeping them warehoused separately from the "street" version...
I bought an XL. It's your bare bones to do truck stuff with truck. That's why I bought it. I didn't want all the things that cost so much to fix or replace such as headlights, taillights heated/cooled seats ,bliss just to name a few. I'll soon be retiring and have an Explorer with the bells and...
