  1. Considering a 2021 with 36,360 miles - Looks like I can still get an ESP - True?

Looking at a clean 2021 F-150 hybrid with a 6.5 foot bed and adaptive cruise for less than $45k. The catch is that it has 36,360 miles in the online listing, and I want the truck to be able to be covered by a Ford extended service plan. When I checked on the Granger and Flood Ford sites with...
  2. Wrench of Death That Only Occurs When I’m About to Plummet Over a Cliff

There's your problem; that little girl is too short to see over the steering wheel, on or off the road! 😁 Seriously though, I hope that the dealership can fix it.
  3. Options for max payload in a PowerBoost 4x4 truck with 6.5' bed, 7.2kW PP, 360 cameras, adaptive cruise, tow tech pkg??

Someone else informed me of the package differences, and I thought that the 501A package was required for some stuff. I changed my spec to the 500A, but judging by the 2023 order guide that just dropped today, it looks like the base packages in all trims is now gonezo, and so the minimum trim in...
  4. Granger Ford (3% under invoice forum offer), got an email today (7/18) that their order books did NOT open today, unable to order?

I was and still am unaware of Ford's exact plans, since they don't communicate with me. Dealers are and have always been a conventional car brand's point of contact. I did not know who chose the exact date, whether it was Ford or Granger.
  5. Latest 2023 F-150 Order Guide (w/Raptor & Raptor R) Released

Have the optional 40/20/20 bench-like seats been removed from any Lariat trims? It looks like it, but I want to be sure.
  6. International Boundary Message

I read somewhere (can't remember where now..) that it is a feature of the truck that can be turned off.
  7. Granger Ford (3% under invoice forum offer), got an email today (7/18) that their order books did NOT open today, unable to order?

No pitchfork here, just.. confused. For the record, I thought it was both Ford and the dealers who set the order open dates, since I know that not all models have the same dates, and some dealers appear to specialize toward specific models.
  8. Granger Ford (3% under invoice forum offer), got an email today (7/18) that their order books did NOT open today, unable to order?

What do you mean exactly? Are you saying that I'm wrong to be confused as to why they cannot fulfill orders that they stated would open today? Or something else?
  9. Granger Ford (3% under invoice forum offer), got an email today (7/18) that their order books did NOT open today, unable to order?

I'm not blaming them per-se, but I am confused, since they gave this date, and then couldn't stick to it.
  10. Granger Ford (3% under invoice forum offer), got an email today (7/18) that their order books did NOT open today, unable to order?

Contrary to their forum post about order books opening up on 7/18, I just got this email. "<MostlySafeBear>, Order books did not open today for F-150's. Once those open back up I will be able to provide you with a quote based on that build and price. Our allocations change month to month so it...
  11. Options for max payload in a PowerBoost 4x4 truck with 6.5' bed, 7.2kW PP, 360 cameras, adaptive cruise, tow tech pkg??

Good to know, because I was low-key worried that the payload actually could somehow be that low from the factory. If you have a mother in law, maybe she needs to take the bus instead.
  12. Options for max payload in a PowerBoost 4x4 truck with 6.5' bed, 7.2kW PP, 360 cameras, adaptive cruise, tow tech pkg??

I'm aware. Others may not care about their safety and the safety of others on the road, but I have already calculated my tow limits against my payload limits, and whenever I have the truck, I will be making use of a truck scale prior to setting off.
  13. Options for max payload in a PowerBoost 4x4 truck with 6.5' bed, 7.2kW PP, 360 cameras, adaptive cruise, tow tech pkg??

I'm currently experiencing a distinct lack of PowerBoost trucks to crawl underneath to check, or well, any trucks. But a direct comparison would be quite helpful, and if you are correct, then that might make a tow package (unsure which one) worth it for some people. For me, because of payload...
  14. Options for max payload in a PowerBoost 4x4 truck with 6.5' bed, 7.2kW PP, 360 cameras, adaptive cruise, tow tech pkg??

How so, specifically? That's quite a bit of well sourced data to just dismiss.
  15. Options for max payload in a PowerBoost 4x4 truck with 6.5' bed, 7.2kW PP, 360 cameras, adaptive cruise, tow tech pkg??

I'm not sure what a "3/4 float rear axle" is (still learning!) but the linked post explicitly says, among other things.. - Same 9.75 (non HD) rear axle as regular & Max Trailer tow package Powerboosts (https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/attachments/2021-f-150-weights-specs-pdf.10601/ pg 20 & 32)...
  16. Options for max payload in a PowerBoost 4x4 truck with 6.5' bed, 7.2kW PP, 360 cameras, adaptive cruise, tow tech pkg??

I did not mean to imply that your links were not helpful. On the contrary, they were quite helpful, and gave me lots of supplemental reading. You're the dawg 😀
  17. Options for max payload in a PowerBoost 4x4 truck with 6.5' bed, 7.2kW PP, 360 cameras, adaptive cruise, tow tech pkg??

According to other posters, the PowerBoost already gets all of the upgraded gear that the max towing package would add. See this post: https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/threads/8-2-build-week.4469/page-110#post-111047
  18. Options for max payload in a PowerBoost 4x4 truck with 6.5' bed, 7.2kW PP, 360 cameras, adaptive cruise, tow tech pkg??

Interesting, thanks. based on that, I made sure that my build no longer has the max trailer tow package selected, and I'll look for a similar aftermarket tow mirror solution. I've seen some stick on mirror extenders that look lightweight and easy to use.
