I've heard/seen people grind this down a bit. Even zip tie the liner back. Mechanic said he just removes them., its much cleaner I've heard the upper one has vents that lead to cabin floor so don't expose them to water, ie leave them covered by the felt liner? Let me know, or I will have...
I am looking at getting Toyo R/T Trail, 35x12.50R17, then saw these are coming out in April (next month).
Almost a mud tire that should be tolerable on road, noise, rain, snow, grip, handling, wear, etc
Not much mud in southwest but should be good offroad in sand and rocks, stronger sidewall...
Just saw this so passing it on. Good wheels.
Looks like it it's just a couple of lines like Alpha, not all are correct bore for us.
I got some delivered to/through local Discount tire price match if you send them the link.
I used my DT credit card too.
25-50% off on some. (save $600)
FYI: I got...

Got some good pics from Utah, Arizona, Grand Canyon trip.
First wild Tortoise on the trail, healthy but looked like he had been hit maybe years before. We rescued a baby Great Horned Owl from the river, brought him to a Utah Raptor Rehabilitation Center, he's doing well, eating 2 mice a day...
Too much rain in southwest this last year. What do you folks do in rain for cooking area. Working on solutions for cooking off tailgate. This Walmart 12x10 OT canopy fits nice. Lowest setting covers tailgate $123. Doesn't hit truck. Has guy lines and vents for wind. I sprayed with...

Anyone know some other wheels that are correct center bore for our hub centric system of 87.10 mm and don't require centering rings?
I hate centering rings, they just seems wrong to me.
Without them you can get hideous vibrations that ruin everything.
With them a weaker system and a pain in the...
This is just my rock slider solution if it helps anyone.
Casey and Cory at Bear Valley Overland, Big Bear Lake California. Feb 2-4 2023.
Casey fabricated proper rock sliders for my supercab, 6'5' standard bed, 145" wheelbase, 2021 F150 4x4.
In my mind the "Lord of Steel" Casey is a Demigod...

Did an overnight desert run. Fun stuff. Truck did great. Still not enough clearance, approach angle. Destroyed bottom of front bumper, my bad. LOL
Slept great in bed with air matress, bag and pillow, was perfect.
Next big run is desert to mountain snow camp. woot !!
Anyway I'm learning as I go. No expert, I know enough to know I don't know enough.
Getting awesome help from other forum members and local shops, club instructors/members.
Did a little off-road, little family camping, little build work. Thanks Stage3 Frank etc.
Then I signed up for this...
Just sharing what info I was told.
Been waiting for 2.0" kit with new changes specific to 2021 suspension since truck was built April.
Called again for update. Last time I called it was still in development in Engineering along with the 2.5 and new adaptive version for Raptor $$$.
Talked with...
We're taking a trip to high desert. Not quite off grid.
But no cell service ie cant use phones, google drive and maps etc.
Should have GPS signal of course, but will trucks Nav system still work?
For example does it have a local copy of US maps stored onboard?
Or is dependent on some other...
Wondering if anyone has tried removing these on a 2021 yet, and if there's any issues? Does the 2WD not come with these 1" blocks? I was thinking of removing them and adding Fox 2.0, set to 1" to retain 1" of rake and improve handling. My 4x4 Sport w/o FX4 has 3" of rake stock.
Just checked my fuses, after reading post on other forum.
Pretty much every fuse in the under hood fuse box seemed loose and I pushed them all in.
Only 3 in body control module fuse box were loose.
Relays seemed fine.
I always thought a fuse should be seated all the way in?
I have zero issues so...
Was reading through manual and saw this.
Interesting, I assume its for 2kW Pro power option.
I ordered with 400w so I assume only one gen/alternator?
