Woohoo! Thanks! That's a load off. I heard a rumor that's not the case and read that you can add the tow mirrors after the build but that in that case you don't get the camera.
Yes, correct. It shows that I have that feature in my order on the ford website but I am wondering if that is wrong too given I selected the tow mirrors.
@Zach (or anyone) can you tell me if I lose the 360 degree camera if I ordered the tow mirrors? I'm having a hellava time trying to get this info from Ford.
That and my order configuration says Standard 20 gallon gas tank for a platinum powerboost. I'm assuming the order config in the website...
Thanks for the info! I guess I'll need to buy some sort of adapter - that works. The $6 adapter I bought on Amazon didn't work but you get what you pay for. I'll try the $22 version next.
I know the lower trims (at least some of them) still have them but from what I've seen in a couple of dealer videos I think they may have removed them from the front of the cab? From what I could tell the cover now says 120 volt and when a dealer opened the cover on one it looked like some sort...
As per Granger other customers have asked about this too but it should be 30 gallon. They recommended I call Ford which I'll do when I get some time during my working hours.
In other words, for this truck 30 gallon is 'standard' in this case and so it's probably a goof on the Ford website.
So Ford contacted me so I can sign up for the order tracking. I checked my order and it says standard 23 gallon fuel tank. For a Platinum Powerboost with a 6.5ft bed.
I saw 'standard' on the invoice Granger showed me and asked if that was going to be 30 gallon and they said it would be 30...
What is that surface you have under your trailer and above the sand? 20 years ago I used to go miles and miles down the island with several other 4x4 and we got stuck a LOT but were able to pull each other out. (had to pack gas)
That's another great tip, I left it off knowing it's a deal install option and I could consider it later. I've read about Forscan and plan to get that too.
I'm actually excited to make the trip out there. I have an extended (grandmother's) and very large family about 2hrs away (wrong direction!) that I haven't seen in a long while.
I am not sure; I've read both. All I know fore sure is that it changes the axel ratio.
"A higher ratio can make the vehicle feel more responsive and powerful, but it can also make the ride feel more jarring on rough surfaces."
For anyone concerned about adding the FX4 package and Max Tow, and how it might make the ride too stiff. I've scanned a lot of threads and the consensus is pretty much yeah, it's going to make the ride suck more than either would do individually where people are even debating that.
