I wonder if they didn’t install the new controller under the dash. If I had to guess, maybe they hooked it up and got errors and put the original back in and gave up.

Great news, let us know how it goes towing. My favorite forscan option is walk away lock on the 2024 year models and up. 2nd is Bambi mode.

follow my instructions, its pretty easy. mine took about 30 minutes. did my dads after in about 15 min since i already knew what i was doing.

Sounds like you didn’t back up the unit you installed by break petal before you swapped it (TRM). You can hookup the old one without removing the bolts, just plugin the old one and back it up. Need to back up the old TRM, install new, load old backup and make change for new before writing the...

Exactly same experience for me, did the upgrade last week. Does bother me a little that they chose a constant hot 12volt wire instead of switched though.
