  1. Lane centering- off center?

That’s how close the truck gets to them. Or maybe I fat fingered my phone because it 5 degrees and my fingers are numb and I’m ready to go back south of I10 where I belong. One of those two.
  2. Lane centering- off center?

They are all like that. I think it’s a safety buffer since the left lane could be oncoming traffic. It’s very annoying, especially since 18 wheelers like to crowd the left to the inside for some reason. I get my horn blown at me by most 18 wheelers I pass unless I fight the truck (and it is a...
  3. Power-Up 2.3.0 OTA rolling out

I don't use the speed sign recognition, but I do want my XM to work properly again, so that's a good tradeoff for me. I'm sure everyone will be different. Guess it's too much to ask that we fix one thing without breaking another.
  4. If you had to order again would you still get the PowerBoost motor?

Once I get more than 4 miles from my house I’m on the tollway at 75mph. Guess I just don’t live in the right area.
  5. If you had to order again would you still get the PowerBoost motor?

I too am blown away by other peoples milage. Even before i had my level on, I couldn't break 20 mpg on any trip. 1.8 miles to the grocery store at 35mph, taking the kids to the pool 0.6 miles away at 15mph, work trip 567 miles at 74 mph... never broke 20. All I could guess was the AC consumes...
  6. Anyone else having issues with Sirius XM over the past few days?

This is because it is pulling channel 58 through your phone instead of over the satellite. During the holidays the channel lineup changed and that channel went online only while a Christmas station was there, and now the truck thinks it has to pull it through your phone's data connection to...
  7. Powered My HVAC 6+ hours during ice storm with Pro Power Onboard

I'm sure it includes the blower too, plus he said he had some lights and the router.
  8. If you had to order again would you still get the PowerBoost motor?

I would probably get the power stroke if I could go back in time. 90% of my driving is on Texas interstates at 80+, so I could save a boatload of gas with a diesel. Since that’s no longer available, the powerboost would be my second choice. The 7.2kw is nice, but I’ve not used it enough yet that...
  9. F-150 Hybrid to Power House

To make it safe and to code you need a different transfer switch, and a different electrician who understands why you need it.
  10. F-150 Hybrid to Power House

Read this thread, it's long, but it is pretty much every question you could ask on this topic answered. https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/threads/installed-transfer-switch-in-house.1267/
  11. Cool way to view APIM AS-BUILT Data

I didn't look under off-roading. I was interested in using it for regenerative braking on the powerboost, I've grown really fond of 1-pedal on my Mach-E.
  12. Cool way to view APIM AS-BUILT Data

1-pedal? Is that a carry over from the Mach-E or is there a way to turn that on for the PB that I’ve missed?
  13. BlueCruise not available until second half 2022 - says Ford customer service

I can confirm my April delivery Mach-E does not have the BC OTA either. Doesn’t really bother me on that one because I didn’t buy it specifically for BC, I bought it for an around town EV.
  14. BlueCruise not available until second half 2022 - says Ford customer service

If you wanted all of those things, then yes, it didn't cost that much. But if you only bought 701a at $2,685 for that one feature, and got the others even though you didn't want them... then you paid $2,685 for BC. Same logic I'm applying to my purchase. I would have been perfectly happy with...
  15. BlueCruise not available until second half 2022 - says Ford customer service

For me it's not the cost of the prep package that is significant, it's the cost difference between a XLT and a Lariat 502a, that is not minimal.
  16. BlueCruise not available until second half 2022 - says Ford customer service

There has been speculation (nothing confirmed) on another thread related to OTAs that the APIM module in job 2 builds is different than job 1 builds, and the newer APIM might be needed in job 1 builds to get BC working. Given chip shortages finding those APIM modules could be tall order. If...
  17. Can I make do with the standard range battery? Do I want to?

We swapped to an EV earlier this year when we got a Mach-E, and we've found that range only matters for road trips. Slow charging to 80% 2 or 3 times a week isn't hard on the battery, and our charge never drops below 50% for daily commuting. For road trips, the hit isn't as bad as you would...
  18. Thoughts on adding seat heaters to XLT (standard)

Katskinz seat covers with heaters should set you back about $1800 installed. Tapping into the 12V side of the car is a simple task any installer should be able to handle.
  19. Power-Up 2.3.0 OTA rolling out

Do you have the SirusXML360 enabled under connected services? When a lot of channels went digital only during Christmas it seemed to really screw up the connected aspect of SiriusXM.
