Somehow the piano black wrap on my platinum tailgate got damaged so I replaced it with a brushed gunmetal wrap. Not super thrilled with how it looks so I’ll probably redo it in black.
@Ford Motor Company - points for being brave enough to post about the app update. TOTAL FAIL for not understanding what F150 owners value and want in an app. How about listening to your customers and giving us the features we actually use.
Just noticed my strategy code is different than when I loaded my Livernois tune. I’ve contacted Livernois to find out what to do next. I’ve heard they will update my existing tunes for the new strategy code.
The next question is whether OTA updates can mess up any of our Forscan mods?
Got an email today offering 1 year blue cruise for $250. When I check my FordPass app there are options for 1 year/$250, 3 year/$600 or 1 month/$75. Sounds like not many folks were willing to pay the ridiculous rates they've been charging. I rarely used it when it was active but if they cut...
1500 mile update:
So far I’ve averaged 21 mpg. These tires are noticeably better in the rain than previously owned KO2 or Nitto RG. I think the extra sipes really make a difference.
You can see P275/60/20 on my recent thread. I thought about getting the P285/60/20 but they’re a little scarce, and I decided to go as light as possible in an AT tire.

Forscan is a little intimidating at first but if you watch some videos on it and take your time it's not to difficult.
For what it's worth my Forscan settings for the Toyo 275/60/20 SL were different than the stock settings...

With the President's day special and 5% off for using Discount Tire credit card they were $1326+tax. (I skipped the replacement certificates and disposal fee)
I do like the aggressive look of the Nitto RG better. If it were up to me, I'd make a tire with the Nitto outer lug and sidewall and the Yoko G015 center tread.
I decided to regain some of the mpg lost with my Nitto RG 295/60/20. After much contemplation and study I landed on the Toyo AT3 as the best compromise of off road capability and fuel efficiency. I prefer the look of 285/60/20 and Toyo offers that in a lighter package than most, but ultimately...
