That is correct, it is called the Tremor hood. I vaguely remember something in these threads about some changes in 2024 so that might be one of the changes. Maybe they went back to the normal hood with the BAP.
Normally, or at least in the past, the BAP (Black Appearance Package) came with the Tremor style hood. That is the hood with the non functional vents.
It is different from the regular F-150 hood so you should know what hood you have if you get any accessories for the hood.
The regular hood has...
Nice work! Come back and let us know your experience with these on. Especially how much it effected the normal "vanilla" ride.
Right now OEM is cushy but very nice for street driving. I wonder if you feel any measured stiffness with these.
Good luck!
HA! Just be ready for the tax assessor. When he gets to the chicken coop have a couple of fellas come out of the bushes with banjos. Then ask the guy if he's Ned Beatty's brother. You may never see him again. :)
Looks great! L-Track has a lot of options too.
Any plans on a black version? It is easily paintable but a black option would be a great addition to your lineup if possible.
Good luck!
If you do a lot of camping have you looked at a Powerboost? They can run your whole set up. If you never go anywhere without an electrical hookup site, it may matter less, but it is a dream truck for remote power and power outages.
Good luck with it!
My truck is more of a street queen and I love a good carpet mat. I went with Lloyds Luxe mats and they are nice. While they are good I do think there is room for an even more luxury carpet mat. I do not know if that is on the table for you but that could be a nice niche market to fill.
Thanks for the info and let us know how the bulbs work if you give them a try.
My dad had a Hyundai Sante Fe with this turn signal - side view feature but the side view was in the instrument cluster. A little more convenient. It was nice but really not used often. However it was another piece...
Thanks for posting this! I could never get my tiny LED bike rack lights to make this work. Research lead me to believe the LED's just did not offer resistance to make the truck think something was working properly. I then thought about cutting the LED lights and attaching some regular bulb...
That is great to hear about that 2021 Expo dial. I book marked with that 2021 VIN so I will just buy a new one.
I am waiting to see what the set up from the Etsy guy looks like before I order it. Working as is proper for the dial self moving to P and not throwing any codes is great!
If all...
I have had to use mine about 4 to 5 times so far. Our power goes out regularly and we are on a "low priority" section, so we are usually last to get fixed. 6 - 10 hours is typical, but we had one instance of 11 days and another for 7 days before I got the PB. Hurricanes came through.
We also...
I would try to find some auto paint that matches the wheel as close as possible. Then just paint the spot that is exposed to "blend" it in and roll with it. See if it bothers you or if you do not notice the difference.
This is a cheap way to go for what is probably some knock off wheel. See if...
Outstanding! Please let us know how you make out. I have the housing coming from the Etsy guy later this month and want to do this for my 2022. Let us know if any codes get thrown with the 2021 Expo dial (part #) and please post pics! :) Good luck.
This is truly terrible news but thank you for the update here on the forum.
Chip was without a doubt the best salesman I have every delt with and I have delt with a lot. Regardless of the price of the vehicle he was always great. He was also a genuinely nice guy and a pleasure to speak with...
Years ago I had Ranger and attached a big bug deflector to the hood. It was big and stuck up quite a lot and did somewhat work. However it needs to act as an air flow deflector and I and I am sure it cost me MPG. It also was somewhat of the front vision blocker as it came up about 3 inches over...
