The only ones I can find are magnetic mount, but Fords are aluminum non-magnetic (why did Ford do that?).
I don't need it permanently installed. Just a flashing lightbar that can be temporarily suction-cupped to the roof for a short while and then taken down in a pinch. Any recommendations?
I have a dash cam hooked into a cigarette plug for power (which I guess Ford calls “Power Point”). Used to be it would supply power to the cam for about an hour or more after parking and shutting off the engine. But lately, it’s been powering down right away. I want it to stay on for a while...
I did look at the Boosts before, but they don't any with cameras. So it was a no-go. I saw this out on the road today (someone else's truck). This is more like how I wish they looked. Here, the lights were actually steady on though. I can't figure out how to make mines do that.
It kinda sucks. You have this large white/clear panel, but there's only these 2 little orange/amber LED bulbs that don't even illuminate the whole panel and that's it. Ford could have done better.
So, what are these "running lights" and how do we turn 'em on?
The truck came with standard mirrors which had excellent bright turn lights. After upgrading to towing mirrors, they’re not as good. Are they supposed to be this dim:
They always ask for VINs to make it look like they're doing something. They don't even run your VIN or do anything with it. They just want to scour the internet and re-post the same rhetoric so that owners searching online see the posts and get tricked into thinking Ford really reaches out and...
This is why I can't stand that obnoxious @Ford Motor Company fake bot account on here. Why do the moderators even allow him / it on here. Please ban it already.
Ford seems to do an awful job of warranties. We've seen countless sagas and stories of customers getting screwed.
There's also a very confusing thread on another forum that you're supposed to change a setting somewhere if you upgrade the battery size: https://www.f150forum.com/f129/lets-discuss-fomoco-motorcraft-batteries-548353/ .
