  1. Post your 14th Gen on a Road trip

Bear Glacier outside of Stewart, BC on my way to the Yukon at the end of last summer.
  2. Custom Leather Seats In My 24 RCSB

Personally I’d recommend reupholstering your seats over covers. Price would be higher but it’s definitely worth it, plus you’d be getting actual leather seating surfaces. Most covers that claim to be “leather” aren’t made from actual hides.
  3. 40/20/40 center bench swap compatibility.

    Yes armrest too
  4. 40/20/40 center bench swap compatibility.

If you want the cloth to match you’d have to source from another XLT. XL/STX use different material. It may look similar in photos but you’ll notice a difference once it’s in the truck.
  5. Anyone change their own oil?

I always do my own for a number of reasons, cost not necessarily one of them. By the time I buy oil (even on sale) and filter it might only end up being $10-20 cheaper than getting the dealer to do it. But I like doing basic maintenance myself, as others have mentioned in this thread it’s...
  6. 🌟 Introducing the NEW BAK MX4 TS w/ T-Slot Rails! 🌟

Wish this came out a year ago, would’ve been perfect for me. I’m guessing the new t-slot rails aren’t compatible with existing MX4 covers?
  7. Bench seat under seat storage lock

Yes it’s keyed. You can swap the whole bottom over easy enough, will need to remove side trim panels and there’s 2 T50 bolts holding it on.
  8. Canadian market trucks

Sadly not the case anymore, Ford no longer makes it standard equipment in Canada. I think up to 2023 it was standard, my 24 I had to option it.
  9. F 150 Fire just happened

The other giveaway is that the truck is a 13th gen
  10. Headlamp Help

I think only parking lights are supposed to come on. That's how my 24 operates anyway.
  11. If leveling is so great, why doesn't Ford do it?

Yes, because aggressive rake as they come from the factory looks janky. Even more so on the 122” wheelbase. Leveled on 33s is the perfect stance in my opinion.
  12. Custom Leather Seats In My 24 RCSB

Don’t know part numbers since I found somebody selling a full jump seat with the storage on marketplace and swapped the upper storage over. This thread should have all the info you’re looking for: https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/threads/adding-console-armrest-on-xl-stx-bench-seat.22153/
  13. Custom Leather Seats In My 24 RCSB

I’m usually pretty good with not spilling liquids, it’s the crumbs that inevitably fall off the Timbits that makes a mess of the seats haha
  14. Don’t forget!

Yeah, Ford recommends changing every 30k miles (48,000km). Doing the 32,000km service on mine today but will be replacing the engine air filter as well. It’s not nearly as bad as yours, but still gross. Edit: actually pretty bad
  15. Driving forward unexpectedly

Very top of the page just left of center, circled in the photo. I don’t think its included on the physical window sticker that comes on the truck if that’s what you’re looking at.
  16. Driving forward unexpectedly

Yes, your window sticker would have the actual build date on it. You’d be better off checking your VIN on Ford or NHTSA website to see if it’s affected.
  17. Driving forward unexpectedly

    Only 269 total vehicles affected:
  18. Custom Leather Seats In My 24 RCSB

I believe the part number is ML3Z-1513000-AA. I didn’t end up using OEM carpet in mine since the price for it up here in Canada is stupidly high. I just glued a high quality carpet over the existing vinyl floor.
  19. Switched fuse for aftermarket seat heaters in 24 xlt

For aftermarket seat heaters I’d recommend wiring them with a relay using power direct from the battery. Since relays only need ~200mA to switch you can use a lower rated circuit. I typically tap fuse 30 on the interior fuse box which is 10A for USB charging port.
  20. Custom Leather Seats In My 24 RCSB

I doubt you’d have much luck finding full grain covers. Full grain leather is much thicker and therefore harder to work with especially trying to contour it to a seat. It’s not impossible, many years ago we made custom upholstery for a customer with an old Jeep YJ out of full grain and it turned...
