I don't necessarily think you need the vented rotors on the rear, as most factory applications don't have them back there and most braking is done by the front of the vehicle. (Sorry if you know all this....) This is mostly due to the weight transfer to the front under harder braking leading...
I wonder if you have bad panel gaps on yours. Can you take pics of the offending areas? Just how much water is finding it's way in?
I have a simple WeatherTech soft cover on mine and aside from intensely heavy rain, I really don't get any water intrusion into the bed. There is a seal at the...
Sounds like a plan. I will say again, I would have gone solid vented rotors on this setup. I do NOT like the idea of slotted & drilled rotors on a tow vehicle (or even a track car, for that matter). Slotted is one thing, and does have it's benefits. You start drilling holes in these things...
Could not have said it better myself.
New tires do not equal "good tires". And 20K miles on a modern shit tire is the end of their life, though I would bet their traction sucked when they were new and properly broken in.
These things are tail-happy to begin with and need all the help they...
Good catch.
The static RPM limit sort of mimicked valve float I've seen in older performance engines. Can't (enough air in combustion chamber) or blocked exhaust (can't get enough air out). If it was the trans, I'd Exoect the RPMs to keep climbing with no shifting.
Nice build! 5.0 FTW 😜. It will do all you ask of it and sound good in the process! One thing you'll want to seriously consider is a Banks throttle controller to wake up the V8's responsiveness.
I'm surprised the BAP was a pre-requisite for max tow pckge AND it comes with single exhaust.
If we focus purely on your question of "will these just bolt on", the answer is "no".
Those are a different caliper design altogether, a 6 piston stationary design vs the single piston sliding caliper factory unit. They mount differently to the front wheel knuckle and will require the...
I always wondered how RVs were serviced. Was it an "RV place" or the chassis manufacturer (ie: Ford)? I will say, I can't recal ever seeing an RV at a Ford dealer.
