5.0 w/ 3.73 is by far in my opinion the best powertrain they offer. My mileage has been awesome since day 1, and it goes like an angry swarm of bees out of hell when i push on the gas.
But maybe a godzilla powerboost 250 for me in the future
I'd keep it too man you have a great truck.
I'm getting to that point too with my '21 supercab, after i got that HSW installed, raptor wheels and some leather seat covers on the way i dont want to get rid of it!!!!
my wife really wants an SUV so i am thinking about getting her an explorer...
6’ SCAB, Job 2 2021, has treated me very well with the 1998 lb. Payload and unreal towing. I have zero desire to upgrade to a 2024.
you will really like your ride once you break her in
I couldn’t find HDPP wheels at a decent price out here so I went with Gen 3 raptor on 285/70’s
I rented an escape this week that was carbonized grey and the peel was just as bad as what is posted here.
this appears to be a global ford issue and not just trucks
Thanks John for the note-
it can definitely work on the 8” screen you just have to mess with the APIM settings a fair bit, I had to change my truck to pretend like it’s a super duty (APIM) as well as enable heated and cooled seats (APIM) and all of a sudden it worked! Keep in mind I have never...
also a lubricated fastener will yeild a higher torque than a dry one (i.e - less friction and more clamping)
Just food for thought, I would definitely not over torque it if you are going to lubricate it
I did a bit of research but have not touched it in about 2 weeks. Looks like it’s basically just wiring from the HVAC module as well as pulling out the seats themselves.
Kinda wondering between this and just doing a clazzio seat cover that has the heater pad
I actually like the ‘warm’ steering wheel. It’s often 20F up my way and it’s just the right temperature to never have to turn it off.
not to mention I think I might have been the first person to get it working with the 8” screen so I kind of feel like a trailblazer (shameless plug)
works...
