No Sir, I haven’t bought one because I just wanted to get one that worked with the GFCI in the power boost. But is it more involved than getting a magic fix it all gfci switch? Man this window unit is sounding better and better every time I research this. Or I’ll buy a new house that is more...
The biggest high risk high reward idea I have heard involves clipping the ground prong on my NEMA L14-30 and feeding it into the dryer socket… but I haven’t yet been able to convince myself it’s worth the risk.
That is a great thread, I haven’t seen that one before. Thanks for the share. Realistically, on my budget I will probably end up with a window unit 🙄… But still it is very nice having the worlds quietest and cleanest generator in my back yard at night when everyone else sounds like they are...
If you get a transfer switch that works with power boost, let me know what type. Also, can the digital generator system handle short spikes in current levels above 30A? An AC unit will draw a lot on start up, and it would suck to have the system trip and not allow AC to be used. Honestly I’d...
Sometimes I hear that thingy make funny noises in the drive thru and other places when I’m idling around (e-idle) like it goes into a high speed mode and makes this noise like it is cavitating. It stops when I put it in park but when I put it in drive again it starts up. It’s not the normal...
THIS!!! I am also in that price neighborhood with my XLT and it’s hilarious that it’s got cloth seats. But that’s some nerve not allowing the rest of us the software upgrade- given that there probably isn’t a single hardware difference.
Is this issue still going on? Because I smell windex every time I do a cold (<60 F ambient) start, and my exhaust pipe looks like it’s drooling. I already had the dealer top off my primary coolant reservoir for being below the minimum level like a year ago, but I didn’t even bother asking them...
The article starts out by saying in essence “take this anecdotal ish with a grain of salt” so i will do just that. My hybrid components have been about as reliable as my heart so far so I won’t lose any sleep over it. I think there are way too many e-skeptics in the pick up truck owners market...
Funny that you asked this question now, as just last night I partially removed the lettering from one tire because it was the only tire that I didn’t scruff the letter surface before putting the paint on, which lead to he paint bubbling very slightly. I thought it would have fallen off easily...
This is supposed to be removable, so if I get tired of it I can pressure wash it off, but it took about 30 minutes per tire. Kind of sucks being crunched down by the ground for that much time, but I think the result is pretty good.
It really makes me sad how that show isn’t known about by more people. Pashon fong Inyalowda no listen, buncha lazy takers I guess. I really like your truck’s name! For everybody else Bobby is short for Roberta and she is (for me at least) the most bad ass female character ever. Scene where she...
Coming in way late on this, but was reading this thread and saw your profile pic. See my username? My truck name is “Rocinanate” in the ford pass app, and I have always wanted to give my girl an exterior detail that only fans of the show would notice, and I really like your logo subtly placed on...
We only tend to be quiet after disabling that mother f******g backup chime in 4scan.
In the south, there is literally no time that I am not running at least one of the radiator fans to cool the ac condenser coils. And those fans at low speed are way louder than the fake engine sound coming from...
Which item on livinitup’s spreadsheet did you do for removing the full view not available? That is the black rectangle on the back facing camera right? It is actually one of the dumbest programming/UI decisions I’ve seen in a while, it isn’t even critical info for the driver yet it takes up 30%...
